This place is phenomenal. Been here 10+ times and always great sushi and service. Better than the Michelin star sushi in SD..
Food was definitely good but it doesn't ring as one of the best for the price cal sushi rolls i ever had.Toro toro was gorgeous costing 30usd. Most of rolls cost around 20ish though. The californian and the softcrab shell were just good. And similar points to the udon.If you get 2 beers consider 150 bucks, tips included for 2.Solid 4 stars.
My party made a reservation for today, June 15, 2022. The host named Yu-Su treated me disrespectfully and he didn’t answer me when I was asking to be seated when I arrived on time. In addition, when he grabbed the menus he didn’t say a word to walk me in and I NEEDED TO ASK WHERE MY TABLE WAS and what he did was pointing out where is my table and he walked away. My party likes the food and the restaurant but being my first time, this was a bad experience.
Best sushi I have ever had. The habanero citrus in one of the rolls is absolutely amazing. Wonderful service as well.
Stopped by for Sushi with no reservation & was able to get a table for 3. We loved the Sushi here. Delicious hand rolls, cut rolls & cocktails. So good!!! Service was outstanding & restuarant ambiance was very relaxing. We will definitely be back
I live a block from Shino so it is naturally my go to sushi place. But, even if I lived far away I would still visit Shino on a regular basis. Incredible sushi, friendly service, overall 5 stars!
While visiting San Diego, we went to Shino which was conveniently near our hotel. The wait staff provided special and excellent service. The sushi was excellent, with very fresh fish. The habanero spicy roll was was extra spicy but get the sauce on the side and you will be ok. Soft shell crab roll was delicious! Definitely recommend. Prices were higher than we are accustomed to but it is San Diego after all.
I went this evening to order take-out. The receptionist forgot my order and I ended up waiting 40mins for my food. In the interim during my waiting, I asked the receptionist for a Glass of water and that gentleman refused by saying they have no cup to go.Comparing the over charged price (I spent over $80 for food just enough to feed one person), the service is cheap. They should work on training employees into professional demeanor.
Great sushi! You might find it to be a bit of a job to order a full meal since you will have to order a lot of different sushi bites. We did the wagyu sushi real excellent
Easily within the top 10 dining experiences of my life. Our waitress was extremely polite, knowledgeable, and extended guidance and advice on menu selections to suit our taste.
