Staff rushes me after The first 4 seconds Im in here… I just wanted a quick pint, but one star is too generous

Delicious food, friendly and helpful staff, and a great drink selection. We recommend the Shanghai Bun Deluxe Sampler to get a taste of the different buns and dumplings. The Garlic edamame was perfect (you might need more than two people). The Lotus Trio is a different take on sliders and tacos and it's perfect.Next time I'm in San Diego, this is a guaranteed stop.

Very traditional Shanghai style dim sum! Tasty!

Exceptional flavor and variety of dishes that are mouth watering and prepared to perfection. I would share my child hood favorites for fear of them running out of them on my next coming visit. In continuation, my Mom's eighty five and I'm looking forward to her response's to our favorite dishes and new ones that I've tried and enjoyed fully...? ?❣???⛩??...

Our (very beautiful!) Waitress recommended a very "fruity" APA beer on tap with the Pineapple & Shrimp Rice,.and the pairing was fantastic! The shrimp were cooked to perfection, the atmosphere was great, and I could happily eat here *every* day! And the place is very near the olde original Chinese fishing camp/boatyard; a grossly under-observed local historic treasure to be proud of.

If I could give this restaurant zero stars I would. When we came in to eat the hostess didn’t even seat us. She told us to sit wherever and didn’t even give us menus, we had to get up and grab them ourselves. Took forever for the waitress to come and take our order and forever for the food to come. The dumplings we ordered were straight up still frozen in the middle, not even warm. We asked the waiter to reheat them and it took ages for them to bring new ones. And to top it all off there was a black curly hair in the subpar orange chicken. Very disappointed and surprised that this place has an above 4 star rating on google. Left disgusted and our mood was ruined after the lackluster food and service. Steer clear from this place if eating out Chinese.

I wish I could give negative stars, worst experience ever and it was not cheap. My fried rice doesn’t look fried at all, it just looks like white right with some vegetables. Orange chicken was ordered to be extra spicy and has no spice at all. I feel taken advantage, never coming back. Worst take out of my life.

Went on Sunday for their dim sum happy hour and enjoyed trying most of them. It was very tasty and enjoyable to sit down in their patio

Awesome Chinese. Sandy is the best!

Disappointed a little on the taste and price. ? The atmosphere is really cool, and their happy hour looks good, but the Chow Fun I ordered just wasn't that great. It lacked flavor to me. The dumplings were just normal, things others had smelled very good so maybe maybe other things are better. A bit overpriced I feel if you aren't there for happy hour. Bartender was very nice.
