I saw this place in the news recently being a “top” donut shop in San Diego and were known for their popular King donuts. Stopped by Sunday morning (sometime between 7 and 8) to give their donuts a try but unfortunately a sign on the door stopped that from happening because they were closed. They are also supposed to be known for being open 24 hours but I guess it’s just clickbait. What a waste of time and gas especially during these times.

This used to be a very neighborhood friendly donuts store. The service was nice. The donuts were fine. I went there more for the friend services. Once in a while, I'd be happy to stop by after a morning walk and pick up some. We supported the neighborhood store while a big chain donuts store opened a branch just in the same plaza. Now with its recent popularity, I went twice at 8am/9am. Both times the store were closed. They seems only handling online orders. They are losing their identity as a local store. I would not be returning again. It might be a good time to cut down sugar intake anyway. It is sad to see this change.

I am not huge on sweets or pastries but these donuts are phenomenal. Love how fluffy they are; obviously, they are very tasty as well. Didn’t find them to be overbearing in sweetness. Great place, I can tell they get busy but I was in and out in like 2 minutes.

Read an article saying that this is one of the best donut shops in the area, so I thought National Donut Day was a great opportunity to check them out. NOPE!! I show up at 6:15am (they open at 5am) and I'm told that they're still making the dough and won't have donuts until about 9:30am ?! I guess I was lied to because a donut shop that doesn't have donuts on a day when donuts are celebrated should not be considered one of the best. Needless to say, I won't be coming back here. Go to Krispy Kreme donuts which is in the same shopping center. At least you know you'll have donuts to purchase during the time you eat donuts.

Donuts are ok but it’s best when grandma and the male tee is working. They’re so sweet and happy to give out samples. Watch out for the young lady. I’ve asked to try a sample for the donut holes and she wasn’t so nice and said we can’t give out samples since we don’t have enough right now. Reall? You need to make more then or you’ll loose customers. I’ve been going elsewhere since then.

I'm lucky to live nearby this place. I've been coming here for about 2 years now and they have the best donuts (hands down). Staff is wonderful and has that hometown atmosphere. Don't waste your time at anywhere else.

This place has the best freshly baked donuts around. If you are trying to choose between Krispy Kreme or Sesame Donut this is where I would recommend!! These are your classic donuts that have the perfect balance of airy and just a little crisp! Also the owners and their family are the sweetest and most welcoming people.

Debated on what kind of donuts we wanted to take to the office. My husband and I decided to support the small business. Glad we did! My husband came out with a smile, he said the staff was super friendly. My staff loved the donuts! Will be coming back.

Love these donuts! The couple running this place is very friendly and kind. She always thrown in a few free donut holes for the kids to enjoy! There is a new Krispy Kreme next door but these guys are way better. The donuts almost melt in your mouth! Conveniently located right off the 15.

This place is my go-to place for donuts since moving to the area. The staff are so friendly and the donuts are so fresh and airy. The perfect texture for a donut. So many great things about this donut shop.
