I enjoyed the Apple Pie cider! Serpentine Cider offers many delicious flavors for ciders and has excellent customer service. I purchased a few cider glasses as souvenirs and found that one of them was broken. The owner was responsive and issued me a refund as I was not in San Diego to stop by the cidery and exchange the broken one for a new cider glass. Please pay a visit to Serpentine Cider! The owners treat their customers well and demonstrate good integrity in their business.
I had the pomegranate mint cider and WOW was it delicious! That plus the dank vegan food from Rollin Roots (in the same building) made my whole day. Keep on keepin on, Serpentine! I can’t wait til next time. :)
First cidery I have liked, everything, I tried! Highly recommend…. I got a flight of: strawberry black pepper, raspberry blackberry (personal favorite!), pomegranate mint, blueberry lavender, everything lemon (perry) [second fav]
Fantastic spot and great ciders
A really neat shared space with Lost Cause Meadery and Rollin' Roots. Dog-friendly which we love! Overall the ciders were on the drier end, not very sweet at all. We did a tasting which was a good way to sample the different flavors. Our favorite was the Poached Pear (definitely the sweetest) and there was one with Lavender in it (I can't remember the name but it was quite lovely). They also have really unique flavors like Bloody Mary. I would say if you only like sweet ciders this is probably not the place for you, however you can always go and get mead from Lost Cause Meadery (very sweet) or grab a bite from the delicious Rollin' Roots.

This location is such a vibe and Nigel made the absolute perfect recommendations. Could not recommend this place more. Wide selection for any preference and excellent staff that can make an excellent recommend upon request. Will definitely be coming here again and again.
Hands down THE BEST hard cider you will ever drink. As their mantra says, it really is cider for people who don't like cider (like me!). Low sugar which means it isn't overly sweet, and means you can have a heavenly day of drinking nothing but cider and won't suffer the sugar hangover the next day. It's amazing how many flavor varieties they can come up with, every time we go there are new ones to try! Mango habanero is a definite favorite if you like-a the spice. Not only that, but they have brought in one of the tastiest vegan food trucks, Rolling Roots, to join the establishment's kitchen! Vegan sandwiches and cider?! Yes please! The staff is always super friendly, helpful, and you can tell that they are well taken care of because they actually seem happy to be there. Heading to Serpentine for a few pours is easily one of our favorite ways to spend an afternoon. We have gifted countless crowlers to friends and family, and the feedback has been consistently "This is the best cider I've ever tasted."
I love the cider! The passion fruit vanilla was to die for! Avontes vegan food was extremely delicious and such a good pairing with my drinks. 10/10 recommend. Come here for a good drink and food.
