Their chicken pot pies are all chicken without veggies in the filling. They keep veggies as a side dish if you order pie meals. That's actually smart as I think it locks in the full chicken flavors and keeps the chicken pie fresh. When you take a bite and want some veggies, you can just put some in with your bite.Dessert pies are their specialties too. Coconut cream pie has fresh coconut shavings. Get this get this! It's fantastic!Service is awesome here. Sweet and caring! You will feel the love and warmth of the staff.Don't forget you can buy frozen pies to go! They sell the 4 inch pies. Very good American comfort food diner.The food is tasty, the portions are fair, and the prices are reasonable. This is one of the few family owned restaurants that is not price gouging and cutting back on quality and portions to maximize profits. The atmosphere is as you would imagine from 50 years ago. Service is very fast, even during lunch time. Tried the Sunday turkey dinner special that includes soup, salad, and dessert. The chicken soup has lots of chicken and is very good. The blue cheese salad dressing is full of blue cheese chunks and seems homemade. The turkey was very tender and juicy, and the stuffing was surprisingly very tasty. The fried chicken breast meal was also very good, with a large tasty, juicy chicken breast with the perfect amount of batter to make it crispy even when drowned in gravy. The coconut cream pie was very good and not overly sweet. We will definitely be back to try the chicken pot pie. Update: Got the Chicken Pot Pie meal and the Wednesday Roast Beef meal. Both were excellent. The peach pie and banana cream pie were very good, not overly sweet and packed with fruit.

Old school diner style experience. Google it! There is a history to this place. I just went 2 nights in a row. My order? Their cheese burger and a dinner sized salad with blue cheese dressing. They make it themselves. It's the best I have ever tasted. Love me sum blue cheese! The burger had a real backyard barbeque taste. Definitely filling. Definitely a place to eat for the history and experience. I sit at the bar and watch sports! Plenty of booths and tables.
My daughter & I wanted to try their Chicken Pot Pie so, we split the meal. But the main reason why we went was to try the giant cinnamon roll! ( It didn't disappoint. It was huge & delicious! We had leftovers.)
Excellent deal on the chicken pie dinner that even comes with a slice of pie for dessert!The chicken pie is LOADED with chicken.... more than any other I've had... but no veggies. Not a negative because there's a side of vegetables.I had blueberry pie but other options were cherry, pumpkin, rhubarb, peach, apple, and coconut cream!
