I loved the creative flavors they had! They gave me a free pint of their least favorite ice cream which was really great. I just wish their ice creams were less sweet and leaned into the funkiness of the funky flavors more (example, the blue cheese and pear could have been more blue cheese-y). All in all, would definitely come by again, the free pint really SWEETENED the deal!

Super awesome service from this place. Very friendly staff.. I believe a girl name Lidia help me and she was the nicest person to lighten my day. Thank you.. definitely recommend to visit this place as the ice cream is a must try. They have All types of unique flavors and a great staff.. can't go wrong.
The employees were very welcoming and the atmosphere was so friendly. We decided to get pint size to share and my son loved the Honey Lavender and the Milk of Cow was so delicious! Thanks Salt & Straw Del Mar, we will definitely be back!
Had a delicious split single scoop of ice creams on a waffle cone. Bottom scoop was the chocolate gooey brownie and the top was a specialty ‘flower power series’ Pistachio rose water strawberry mochi. I loved the pistachio and my husband loved the chocolate. Samples are offered on request in metal spoons which I greatly appreciated. Used metal spoons go into a receptacle in the bottom of the counter. U can also buy frozen ice cream pints to go! For those who appreciate gourmet and unusual flavors this is a must try.

Pretty good! We got the PB&J ice cream and the cinnamon ice cream. We both thought the flavors were pretty overwhelming to be honest. I would definitely return to try other flavors, but my initial experience was kind of disappointing- there’s so much hype around Salt & Straw! We ordered through Caviar, and thought everything was packaged well so that was definitely a plus! Will definitely come back in the future to try something else.
Yum!!!!!! Okay I had chocolate hazelnut cupcake on a waffle cone. The waffle cone was soooo fresh! The ice cream was rich and complex in creamy flavor.
This place has amazing, unique ice cream flavors, and the seasonal flavors are always fun to try! Def recommend but be prepared to stand in line on the weekend.
The ice cream is really good, but can be pricey. The ice cream is made with quality ingredients, so you get what you pay for
