Easily one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The bread was so fresh and delicious- really made the sandwich!! Highly recommend!
Don’t eat deli sandwiches much, but decided to give Rubicon a shot. Ordered the half portion ACHIN’ 4 BACON (Roasted turkey, thick-cut bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato, mayo) which is served cold, however, they accommodated my request for a toasted version. Opted for the Dutch Bread….excellent texture, flavor. The sandwich was very good and filling. Comes with a cookie sample. Good service. Line gets long for a good reason.
What a Wonderful establishment. The Manager was quick to to compliment his employees after my gratitude to the incredible sandwiches we ordered. The Dapper, The Pastrami, The chicken cranberry and The tuna... Such love with the ingredients. The biggest plus for us, it came with a cookie instead of a pickle. Absolutely clean as can be! Can not wait to go again.
The sandwiches are huge! The large is about the length of a 12 inch traditional sub. We ate it so quick, we forgot to get a picture. Yum! Each sandwich comes with 1 bite-sized, delicious, chocolate chip cookie. I would NOT recommend dining inside or outside during sunset when it's warm outside. We took ours to go. The storefront faces the sunset and even the workers inside were complaining of the heat. Cute little spot for a sandwich though!
Incredible sandwiches, phenomenal guest service.I got the Rubi club sandwich with Buffalo turkey and all the fixing extra toasted and it was the best sandwich I have ever had. My boyfriend got a build your own turkey with lettuce, mayo, and provolone cheese and he loved it. Fernando went above and beyond for us, we accidentally placed our order at their La Jolla location and they remade our order free of charge (We paid online for other location). Best customer service and great food.Thank you Rubicon!!! Would definitely recommend.
My favorite place for a sandwich in San Diego and Reno!?: fresh deli meat, veggies, bread… Dutch crutch is the fam fav?: they always include a complimentary chocolate chip cookie you don’t want to miss out on : limited seating inside, but I’ve never had trouble finding a table outside?: parking lot across the street and easy street parking nearby
Fantastic sandwich with fresh ingredients. Bread is tasty and some original choices. The only negative part is the lack of choices for vegetarian and vegan sandwiches. You definitely have to try ! And they give you a cookie which is so tasty.
I had the Aching 4 Bacon. This was, by far, the best bought sandwich I've had. The pesto bread was tasty and light. The avocados were creamy, fresh and they were not stingy with the amount. The turkey and bacon was full of flavor, exactly what I was looking for.WARNING: This will feed 3-4 people. Order accordingly.I'm not easily impressed with simple foods like sandwiches but I am very happy and impressed today. I've had other fufu sandwich places with wakky ingredients and none was this satisfying.
Sandwiches are amazing here. I usually get the Rubicon on the pesto. Staff is cool and there's not typically a wait to order or pick up.
