After driving down from Santa Barbara today, I was in the need of a good Chicken Tikka Masala and Royal India's did not disappoint! Theirs was among the best two I've every had. But the biggest surprise was the Samosa. Without exception, these are the best Samosa's anywhere. I ate the full order of Tikka Masala and Samosas in one sitting and don't feel guilty at all!

Very delicious food! The food came out really quick, the customer service was great. We loved the tandoori chicken. Royal India is one of my favorite restaurant in San Diego.

I come here everytime we travel to San Diego, and it is one of my favorite restaurants to visit while I'm here! I truly recommend coming here. The staff have always gone above and beyond for us and I will always be back.

The setting at this location of Royal India is wonderful. Not only I enjoy the best tasting indian food here, the owners of this restaurant have a royal banquet where they play indian music and allow customers to listen to it while enjoying their food. I am not too familiar with Indian music. My favorite food that I like here is their curry. They have a great selection of curry on their menu. For example, the chicken madras curry here is really good. Their Nan bread was really good. I also like the lamb at this restaurant. They also have a wonderful selction of Lamb on the menu. Their Lamb Saag was not bad. The Tandoori chicken here was amazing. The taste of the Tandoori chicken is so wonderful and so good. Also the rice in this restaurant is not bad as well. Their rice is also yummy. I would like to comment that Indian rice is a litte different from what we usually have in China. My favorite rice dishes that I like from China are YangZhou and egg fried rice. Last thing that I want to bring up is that the Samosa here was so spicy and really good. I didn't know before that Indian people like spicy food as well. I am starting to find a similarity between India and China which is the people from both countries like rice and spicy food. In China, there are a lot of people who like spicy food especially in Sichuan province of China. My overall thoughts on this restaurant is that I feel like a satisfied customer and would like to try this restaurant again.

Food was awesome. They have a huge Banquet hall, super clean restrooms. Went to the restaurant and ordered a takeout. They took almost 10 minutes to come and take the order. If that’s also improved, this is definitely a 5 star.

Highly disappointed & Worst place for New year party, Highly priced $190 for two people but such a cheap place. Low quality food, most annoying was in price they charge two drinks (included) and choice was no wine (because they couldn’t cheat on wine) only cocktails and worst cocktails ever, first they choose smallest same glas no matter what kind of cocktail you are choosing and it was just touch of alcohol, feels you are drinking lemonade or juice. Low quality food in taste and varieties too (No choice at all for food handful dishes only), such a bad food I have ever had in my life. Rude staff & everything was so disorganised, I was shocked to see their quality of service, It feels they don’t care at all for customers. I request no one should choose this place it’s waste of time and money.

The best tasting Indian food I had in San Diego! The garlic NAN bread is unforgettable.

Very slow service. Food quantity is less. I don’t like taste..Will not visit again. Veg and non-veg were same. Tandoori roti was terrible..

The place was empty but had a really ambiance. The food was amazing and service was great. The prices seemed pretty steep, but the quality in presentation help justify the cost.

This was a wonderful time with a wonderful meal... get the Monk beer!
