I ordered chicken biryani and chicken 65. Biryani is Ok. However, for chicken 65, which they charge for $16, I was not expecting they use chicken nuggets, (the burger-king type chick-nuggets, not even the Costco type real meat nuggets). 1. Chicken 65 should be deep fried chicken meat, not the faked nuggets. 2. The taste of Chicken 65 is very soggy, sour, and salty. Definitely different from other India restaurants that we've tried. Very disappointing.

Really good tasting lunch menu. Lamb vindaloo level 8 spice was great. I miss the buffet, wish they bring it back soon.

I love love love Indian food. It's one of my favorite things! Royal India is authentic and feels so homey. Every dish is out of this world delicious. I went with the lychee martini, the tandoori wings, the chicken masala & the spicy chicken. First off, the lychee martini was perfection. I'll definitely be back to get this! The wings were so flavorful, I could of eaten them all. The chicken Masala was one of the best I've ever had. It felt like a great comfort food. My friend got the spicy chicken Kabab and he cleared his plate lol. To add onto the gotear food, service was amazing. They really take care of you and make sure you're happy with the meal! I'll be back soon for that martini!

Went here for 3 dinners out of our 7 in San Diego. Honestly it’s so good and has good service. I enjoy the tikka masala and my husband liked the lamb curry.

Ordered a paneer dish and naan, onions in the gravy were uncooked, peas tasted like the freezer, naan looked like it was a packaged product. Rosewater kulfi is absolutely horrible. Whoever is rating this place 4-5 stars is absolutely out of their mind.

I ordered the Aloo Gobi, regular naan and vegetable samosas. Absolutely to die for! This was quite possibly the most delicious Indian food I've ever had in the United States. It's a bit pricey for dinner, but the flavor cannot be beat and portions are generous (*think plenty of jasmine rice accompanying the entree; no reason to order an extra side to finish with any leftovers). The cauliflower, tomato and potatoes in the Aloo Gobi were steamed and spiced to perfection. Samosas were flakey and golden; melt-in-your-mouth good. I happened upon this place rather unexpectedly and what a surprise! Lots of vegetarian options: curries, vegetable dishes...(*a vegetarian dinner for two is an option).Bring your appetite and tastebuds and prepare to set a new standard for mouthwatering, authentic Indian food. Looking forward to returning and trying the pineapple coconut curry.5 stars without hesitation.

This place is over priced. Portion is very small. This is $21 Chicken Tikki Masala and $23 Lamb with pineapple on the dinner menu, both in a tiny to-go box. They are more like a kids meal, rather than an dinner meal for adult. This is the smallest to-go box I had from any restaurant. Taste is so so. We went there because of a buy one get one coupon and wanted to give it a try. The fine print says the free entry is limited at $12 max and you have to buy 2 drinks. It turned out one small drink is $7. Let me clarify it is not a glass of wine. And they do not have any entry below $12. It totally ruined my lunch mood after I figured out all the tricks. I can not trust this place. Will not come back again.

Today I visited Royal India located in Delmar. Scrumptious food, lit ambience and swift service. Everything from presentation of food to taste is truly amazing. We started off with mango lassi which was super refreshing. Tandoori Paneer Tikka is definitely a must try here. In Mains malai kofta was extremely delicious. In dessert pistachio kulfi and shahi mango is my absolute favourite. All in all it was truly amazing.
