Even though I made reservations, a table wasnât reserved. My husband & I ended up sitting at a bar height table that was directly behind one of the entrance doors outside. There was a couple sitting adjacent to us that were very loud so it liked the ambiance. My husbandâs pizza was burnt & too salty. The pasta of my spaghetti bolognese was undercooked & also salty. We are not returning. Really disappointed in our second visit here.
This is our go to spot for date nights and EXCELLENT Italian homemade food. Well known for their homemade lasagna, they offer other flavorful Italian meals such as their fresh fish, stuffed peppers, roasted eggplant, ravioli, just to name a few. If you havenât checked out the spot, I highly recommend you do and make a reservation!

We used to enjoy going here, sadly no more. Perhaps they are another victim of the staffing shortage and the kitchen reflects it. Service was good. Caesar salad is a completely bland disappointment, with the exception of the shaved Parmesan... get a Caesar salad kit at Vons, it has far more flavor! Sausage Lentil soup, oily and mediocre. A can of Progresso has more flavor and depth. Pasta Vongole was a salty disappointment. Nearly inedible. Homemade Gnocchi with Pancetta, wild mushrooms and broccolini. Waaay too much salt and I already like my food too salty. Sadly the dried gnocchi from Trader Joe's has better texture and flavor. The moral is I would rather cook a simple Italian meal at home, and save the $95 on dinner for 2. Just not worth it anymore. I hope this place returns to its former glory, but until then, no thanks.
I had the stuffed eggplant which was delicious! I shared the pear salad with my husband snd he had spaghetti and meatballs. The servings are always ample . The service was very good. With a 5:30 reservation we are always asked if we want to get our order in early to avoid a longer wait time. I appreciate this as many times we have skipped lunch snd are hungry! Rosinaâs is the best Italian restaurant in the Carmel Valley, 4sRanch, Santaluz and RB area. I do wish theyâd get seat cushions for outdoor chairs!
