The ladies at Rose Donuts will impress you with their delicious donuts and stellar customer service.I love this place. I had a temporary work gig in mission valley and during that time I would often stop by Rose's in the morning for some coffee and a raspberry donut. One of the ladies got to know me and once she saw me in line, she would start to grab what I wanted while I waited in line- raspberry donut, coffee and just the right amount of creamer. Every so often I would change it up and get something different. What was really nice was that they had such a wide variety of options beyond donuts. Their bagel choices were so delicious as well as their muffins. The donuts were great but what I really loved was the genuine sense of pride and friendliness. They always said Hi and had a friendly smile. I no longer work in the area but the next time Im down there I'll probably stop in.This is a true mom/pop type business. Those ladies are in there EARLY making fresh donuts and living the life. If you're going to support a local business this is a great shop that deserves your patronage.

Over hyped. Was looking forward to trying what looked like a delicious apple fritter especially after reading such consistently positive reviews.Besides the good crisp, it was over glazed (and therefore sweet) and had 2 pieces of apple. If you like waiting in line to get donuts that are just sweet fried dough then you may give this place a 5. Not my thing.

I love apple fritters. I try them everywhere we go!.I was excited to see a highly rated (4.7 at the time of this post) noting the apple fritters as a star. Unfortunately I was not overly impressed. To me (and everyone is different) I felt it was average based on:Price: $2.95 for the large is higher than averageSize. The large is an average sizeApple. There was literally 4 small cubes. This is below average both in amount, size and taste.Fry. Above average. Nice and crispy on the outside. Moist and fluffy insideSpice. Below average. It appeared well spiced, but it didn't taste that way. Possibly the spice is old?Glaze. Too much for me, so below average

It was a nice little situation at Rose donuts in Linda Vista. They were busy! I had breakfast croissant it was surprisingly good.

Big tasty donuts, how can you go wrong. Very nice place, great service and they are open later than most. Shop local and give them a try.

Mouthwatering display of standard donut varieties. Box of dozen donuts for $17 and the family is going through them quickly! I'm more of a fan of yeast donuts... at least until I tried the red velvet cake donut from Rose! Will keep this place in mind when in the neighborhood.

These donuts are better than kissing Jesus. Honestly, I have never had better donuts in my life. Also the deli sandwiches are really great and the owners and family here are awesome people and I love them more than I love my parents.

Talk about delicious donuts. I went here to get some donuts, to try it out and they were really good. Not only were they good, but they were really good. The donuts tasted amazing, and they even heat it up for you if you want to heat it up. The ice cream isn’t really as good, but if you’re just getting donuts, this is a good place.

Great place for breakfast/coffee/sweets, and great customer service as well!! ???????

I searched best donuts in San Diego- these guys were listed at the top and for good reason! One of the friendliest staff you'll ever be helped by, and their donuts and pastries are to die for. They have the perfect texture, right amount of sweetness, and everything is made with love. Coming back for their breakfast sandwiches!
