These smoothies are so tasty! I was in this morning and Lacy helped me out by recommending her favorite smoothie to me, the Queen of All Greens. She's right - it's great. And she couldn't have been sweeter or kinder for 9AM on a Sunday. Thanks for making my day, Lacy.
I was visiting from the Midwest and assumed juice places in California would be superior to ours at home. I asked for a carrot/orange juice with mostly carrots and very little ice. The person taking my order said they could do that but apparently didn’t pass it along to the person making the juice - who loaded me up with ice and half carrot / half orange juice. My biggest surprise was it wasn’t made fresh at all. They pulled some carrot and orange juice from a fridge and mixed it together. For that, I could have gone to the Target next store and bought bottled juice and mixed it myself. Back home - fresh juice bars make it…. Well… fresh. Disappointed. If you want fresh juice, go elsewhere.

I’ve been to other locations and always had a pleasant experience, but unfortunately this location was absolutely awful. I ordered online at 3:20 PM and arrived at 3:30 PM to a lobby full of impatient people and only two employees working. After a few minutes I asked one of the ladies how long she had been waiting and she responded “30 minutes.” Eventually a couple people stormed out and one lady told them that they need to let people know if they can’t make an order in under 10 minutes so they can choose somewhere else to go. After waiting another 10 minutes I kindly asked for an ETA on my order, at which point they told me they couldn’t find any record of it. They rang in my order again and said that they needed to charge me again, even though I had confirmation of my previous order and payment…??? At that point it had been 30 minutes since I had ordered and was going to be incredibly late to my appointment so I just agreed in frustration to being charged again just so I could get my smoothie and leave. But then they handed me a smoothie that was clearly made wrong, and not filled up to the top of the cup. I told them the drink is supposed to be brown, not white, because it’s a chocolate smoothie, and the employee just blankly stared back… didn’t offer to remake it. I grabbed a straw and left. Got in my car at 4:00 PM (40 minutes since ordering my drink) only to realize the smoothie was made so thick that I couldn’t even drink it through the straw. I was so mad I went somewhere else and had them throw it away. I will never go back to this location in fear of the same service being repeated.******** I want to point out, that a tip jar was on the counter with a note saying “we’re all students, please tip.” There was no sign of a manager or anyone who seemed to be in charge to ensure the shift was running smoothly. I don’t blame the kids working there for not being able to handle a busy rush or customer service issues when they don’t even look old enough to buy beer. This location needs stable management of some kind, because if every day was like this, they would lose all their customers.
Purchased three smoothies, the employee forgot to put ice on two of them, when bringing this to her attention, she replied with horrible manners that she did. When trying to explain that I saw the blenders with no ice, said that she could not understand my request, she was obviously upset and not willing to reconsider the lack of ice, both smoothies looked like milk shakes not smoothies. I have been a costumer for a long time and considering not going back.
I came in tonight and had the pleasure of meeting the closing crew. Very specifically, Jazmine and Dakota went above AND beyond in taking care of me. They anticipated that I needed something before I even knew j needed something. These two are a breath of fresh air from the standard customer service cutout. I hope the boss here realizes how fabulous these two are. Thank you ladies for cheering up my night ?????
I try to avoid this location at all costs. They take forever to make your smoothie. And then when it’s done it’ll just sit there while they make everybody else smoothie they won’t hand it over before moving on to the next guest. The staff never seems to know what they’re doing everyone just always seems lost.
Great location. Love stopping here on the way to the bay or downtown.Juice and smoothies are great, only complaint is the straws they give you will make you work extra hard to get a sip.Con: Takes a long time and tons of energy to get anything out.Pro: You burn more calories and work to increase your capacity for patience as you do.It’s almost a cruel joke.Tip: Swing into the Corner Bakery next door and ask for a couple of straws. There’s seem to be more normally sized.??❤️
Those girls made my smoothie and had it sitting in the blender for 5 minutes or more while they moved on to making other peoples smoothies. I was standing there for about 15 minutes patiently waiting, all while they ignored the fact that a customer was waiting for his order. Horrible customer service!
