Food excellent, the atmosphere is great, cozy, feels like eating at home. Cute place for special dates. Drinks cool.
3 stars for service and vibe. They were great. The food on the other hand was sorely mediocre. I'm not convinced the tonkatsu ramen wasn't chicken Maruchan with some extra toppings. The noodles were weird, the broth was thin and extremely chickeny, the bulgogi was good though. Sushi rolls were a bit soggy and bland. They were a bit warm too, strangely. Like a supermarket roll almost. Hope I don't get food poisoning!
Rakitori never disappoints! The service is amazing and Tina, our server, was very attentive. We ordered the Spicy Tonkatsu, Black Tonkatsu, Takoyaki, edamame, and strawberry nigori.I appreciate them limiting seating and the cleanliness! Parking is not the greatest as it’s street parking only, but it’s definitely worth it :)
If you're new here, the waiter will explain all the items on the menu. They are very friendly and the food was delicious. Definitely worth giving a try and tasting some of the good flavors they have to offer!
WARNING: FOOD POSIONINGReally disgusting bathrooms, rude staff, food was mid at best. Our table was still sticky and littered with small trash and seats weren’t wiped down, hostess gave us attitude when we didn’t want to sit and was annoyed and called over another server to clean the table rather than do it herself. My boyfriend got sick after eating the seafood ramen, it tasted funny and overly salty to begin with but when he saw the bathroom we just cut our dinner short and went home to vomit in an actually clean toilet. This place was recommended to us by local friends but was the worst choice we could have made. DO NOT EAT HERE UNTILL THEY IMPROVE THEIR CLEANING FOOD SAFTEY
I really wish I would’ve taken pictures. This place is super cute it has a nice ambience. Lots of detail to the decor of the restaurants and that’s why I’m gonna give it two stars. The food was overpriced and not seasoned.I think I paid $11 for one lamb chop and it was Burned with no seasoning. Total disrespect to the lamb chop. I got the salmon The portions were for a three year old toddler You literally get for slithers of salmon for $13 The pieces were the size of if you were to put your two thumbs together maybe not even that big. Pork belly was not seasoned. What made it even sadder is that they were at the bar eating a pizza and I really wanted a slice. The Ramen was just ok Another positive is When we told him the lamb chop was burned and Not seasoned He did not argue he took it off. The Cala pillar roll was good. Do not go here if you’re expecting a good tasty dinner and you’re trying to get full. Only go here for cute date a couple of appetizers while you share a soda. I don’t think it’s worth it’s the cost you’re paying for the ambience. I’m not even going to start to tell you about the man who was throwing a long knife into the bus stop bench and talking to him self right in front. Yep Will not be returning. But the ice cream shop across the street was bomb
Bland soup, not impressed for the price. Also when you’re waiting to be seated there’s a sign telling delivery drivers to sit in their car and they’re not allowed to enter till food is ready. Seems very odd.
It seems all the employes are just rude. Just a bad and rude vibe in the store. They even have a threatening sign posted for delivery people to wait outside or else.
Been sick for days due to improperly stored/served food. Fish was room temp. Cold drinks were warm. Warm food was cold. I have almost gone to the hospital. Don’t take your chances.
Hate giving bad reviews to a place I really wanted to like.. but it was honestly not a great dish. The ramen was not good, at all. The noodles weren’t fresh tasting, the soup was bland. The sushi had a sogginess to it that tasted close to a supermarket packaged sushi. The service was nice and I loved the interior, but I left very disappointed. Perhaps down the line I will try this place again, but with so many others out there, I think it will be awhile before that happens.
