Flavors on the food were relatively mild and the cocktails were good but weaker than expected. Overall it was an interesting venue with slightly overpriced food/drinks. I had a fried chicken sandwich and fries for similar price at Queenstown a day earlier and it was vastly superior. Both the food and cocktails at Crack Shack are also better and more affordable.
We love this place. My daughter birthday was perfect thanks to the great service and many activities in this place. We loved the karaoke room, and bowling was super fun as always.
I didn’t get to sample any of the games so my review is only on the food. The chicken in the chicken and waffles was well cooked and the pancakes were nice but the dish needed way more maple syrup there was barely any on the waffles or the chicken so both lacked flavor. The tres leches cake for dessert was nice
came here for the first time after a friend recommended it to us. it was super fun!! although the line for bowling was a 2-3 hour wait, we were able to play ping-pong. the food was good too. and our waiter was one of the best!!
Service was good although most of the staff seemed like they were stoned... just a little spacey. The queso was decent but don't even bother ordering the guac.. it's literally just avocado, no onion, no tomato, no cilantro, no lime juice and what they served us was already brown when it hit the table, was a little shocked that our server delivered it like that. The Parmesan fries were really good though and the portion was HUGE. Oh and if you like to dip your fries in ranch, it seemed like their ranch was made in- house and it was SO GOOD. They have a non alcoholic beverage list that we ordered off and both of our drinks were tasty ($6 for a non alcoholic drink though ?).We played darts and a card game and then bowled after waiting over an hour for a lane even though it was a Sunday afternoon and the place looked pretty dead. (There was a sign about private parties taking place so maybe this is why we had to wait for the lane). They don't make people wear bowling shoes so the floor isn't slick like it should be, the pins are all on strings, and there are definitely warps on the lane causing the ball to change direction. We were on lane B and all of our balls that were thrown to the right side of the lane started to curve hard to the left just before hitting the pins (even though we both bowled straight). The pin strings would get tangled, the system would often not count pins that did go down or count ones that didn't and at one point all of the balls got stuck and we only had an hour, they didn't offer to add any time. Overall decent, food is better than your traditional bowling alley but if you really like to bowl, you will hate these lanes.
Great place for a date! Had a lot of fun activities and wasn’t too crowded. A nice selection of drinks and food.
nice ambience and pretty looking drinks. the food is very americanized but it's expected, tasty nonetheless. don't be fooled by the game room talk, there's very little so don't bring small children. they have board games and decently priced bowling though. will be returning :)
First time in San Diego and wanted to go somewhere fun to start the night off. Looked up places to go and ended up here first. Honestly was a great choice. Food was good, the games were fun and we had an amazing server by the name of Chelsea. Great personality, fun loving spirit and just an awesome person. Definitely plan on coming back here again soon.
Super fun and chill vibe at this place. I got a few drinks and did karaoke. I will definitely come back when I visit again.
I’m very dissatisfied with Punch bowl. We sat in the dinning room for 20 minutes and nobody acknowledged we was there despite there only being 3 other tables in the restaurant. I had to find a server and ask them to serve us to which was very poor. We did not feel welcome at all. I ordered the Alabama chicken burger. I ate half the burger very quickly as I was very hungry and then discovered half way through the chicken was Raw… I have been very ill all day today (Next day) the situation was dealt with badly. They asked if I wanted something else to which I said no. Then asked me if I wanted the item comped, of course I do!? The sever came back with the check 3 times as each time there was a mistake with taking off the comped meal. As I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for 6 years now, if something ever happened like that the whole meal would be comped and a manger would be over immediately to express an apology. He came as we was about to walk out with a $10 gift card which I appreciate but it was too late. I will not be returning and wouldn’t recommend getting chicken.
