Our first time eating Korean BBQ. Very kind and helpful staff. We had a delicious meal. Tried lots of soju. The staff even helped me with my Korean language learning, so patient. Thanks for the delicious meal and fun experience!
I asked why they added an automatic 15% tip on my tab and they told me that ive been here before and that if i didnt want it to be added i should just not eat here anymore. What kind of service is that where they tell you to not come anymore if you don’t like the fact that THEY add a tip without you knowing??? Other than that, it was almost empty and they are still slow. Had to click the button MULTIPLE TIMES AND NOBODY CAME. DO NOT COME HERE. SLOW SERVICE, MEDIOCRE FOOD, AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. BRING YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE. If I could give negative stars, i would.
We had premium menu ,the food quality is high especially rib eye and seasoned short rib , they are so tender and juicy ! We Will definitely come back !They include 18% tips charge on the bill , please pay attention !
Was my favorite Korean Restaurant till my last visit. The waitress charged tips without notice us. I understand that some restaurant changes 18% tips for a large group. However, the server should either tell the customer or simply circle the tip charge on the bill. We have only two people and I normally leave 20% tips. I feel like that this waitress trying to get extra tips.
It's not bad. Food is alright but service is slow and it wasn't even busy. Plus they add 15% tip but why? The servers don't check on us and we waited 25 minutes just for our card to get charged. We had to constantly struggle to get their attention.I recommend Handoo across the street tbh.
This used to be our favorite Korean BBQ; we used to come here almost every 3-4 weeks. The meats are really amazing and delicious, love the ramen as well, and all the servers are very friendly and cheerful - except one who, in one of our latest visit treated my toddler rudely and yelled at her! She seemed like a grumpy old woman and she doesn’t even smile… her behavior ruined it for me and gave it a bad taste in my mouth. I still gave it 4 stars due to the amazing meats and food, and the fact that the other servers were super sweet to us and our little one and have recognized us as repeat customers. We will come back to this one someday, but hopefully the grumpy server is gone, lol.
Be careful not to double tip! They already charge 15% tip on the bill, very easy to look over. I got charged 15% for two people and the service was not good. She was trying to act confused when I asked her why she charged be 15% tip without letting me know first.
The female manager/worker was very rude from the start. The restaurant says that it closes at 11 P.M, but she did last call on our order without even telling us, eventually making us leave by 10. Also, they never come to your table, for I clicked the request button numerous times but never got attention. Overall, there are so many better restaurants to eat at around Convoy for KBBQ. I hope you see this and avoid this horrible scamming experience.
They stopped serving us meat an hour before it closes. Also, I realized after checking other reviews that they literally charge tip in the bill and try to hide it! Not only that, the server was rude, inconsiderate, and barely present. This restaurant is literally the definition of everything a business should NOT DO. \
Nice selection of meats and veggies. Four different menus to choose from. Like many Korean barbecue places, the food comes raw and you cook it yourself. Friendly staff. Food is delicious but expensive. One of the best Korean barbecue restaurants I've tried so far.
