Had been to one of their other locations 4 years prior while visiting the San Diego area. Decided to try this one for late breakfast and early lunch. The al pastor tacos were good, nicely seasoned and not too fatty. The rolled tacos were freshly made, crunchy and topped with guacamole. Just wish there had been more meat inside. Knocked off a star for that and the missing salsa bar. I'd go back.
The “green” Chilaquiles for breakfast are the best
So good. The carnitas chili relleno burrito is fantastic.
Extremely unsafe food handling. The same man who was handling cheese with his bare hands was working the cash register without washing his hands when going back and forth. This is the #1 cause of spreading food borne illness. Not to mention, the are extremely inconsiderate of delivery drivers, and will never give an accurate estimate.
Chile relleno was cold and sauce was bitter. Disappointed in this restaurant as it was my first time and I was really looking forward to eating here. The food lacks flavor too. I suspect they use canned enchilada sauce to make their enchiladas, because of the bitter taste many canned enchilada sauces have. I have no issue with using canned sauces, but you need to bring in other spices to tone down the bitter taste and to bring out the flavor of the Chile. It is a standard Mexican restaurant, nothing special about it. No salsa either, at least I wasn’t offered any and didn’t see any around. I won’t be coming back to this place.
Good food good service
Standard Burrito vs Jumbo. Great value!
I'm done with porkyland. They just dose the food with synthetic capsaicin as a substitute for flavor. This means you have no control over the hotness.
Fresh mex carne asada good but have tp pay extra for guac dosn't make sense
My first time trying this place and i enjoyed it. Guac was fresh. Rolled tacos not greasy. Salsa good. No complaints from me whatsoever. I will be back for sure.
