Popcorn shrimp is a great fast food snack deal and their chicken is actually good (Chick-fil-A struggles with that still).Akin to Arby's in offering palatable fare while also seemingly relegated to rougher areas of the county. If there were a way to swap out some Carl's jrs or Chick-fil-As with Popeyes, I think 92127 and surrounding areas would be a better place for fast food.
I was excited to try Popeyes for the first time but it was mid. Tenders were flat and all skin. Shrimp were hard little crunch balls. They forgot a sandwich and it took over 30 to get my food. Staff was friendly tho!
Chicken tenders were hard tasted like a few hours old and they were cold then i asked for hot sauce and got none $20 bucks for bad food ?
So hubby just asked last week if anyone has tried Popeyes Chicken in the fam. Nobody had except me but it was like a decade ago. I said the lines are always busy so it must be good. Lo and behold I'm running errands today and there is a Popeyes next door. So I ordered a box and ate a wing. They asked mild or spicy? I said mild...I think I should have said spicy. My review is that it smelled good like fried chicken should. It was Crunchy with every bite and it wasn't greasy. The flavor was fine and maybe a little salty. I checked online & KFC charges $20.49 for 12 PC. Well no wonder why Popeyes lines are long! My 11 PC was $16.99. So if you're looking to stretch that dollar and still have that Crunchy chicken, this is a deal! If all u want is KFC flavor then be willing shell out the difference!

Forgot my hottie sauce, and charged me 1.00 extra for 4 BBQ sauces for my French fries. The sandwhich didnt taste fresh at all. 1 out of 10 stars will not return ever again.

Placed the order it was paid for and the order could not be found. It was dirty in there with a bunch of files and it is unhygienic
so rude. i bought a bunch of food & paid for ranch and asked for honey. i noticed they pit ONE honey in my bag for my food? is this a joke? i ask for more and they give me two. the one by my house just puts a handful when i ask, guess i’m better off there!
I like popeyes in general but this location really disappointed me. The sweet tea I got, was absolutely god awful, meaning they either don't clean their tea containers leaving room for mold to grow and get into the tea, or they serve several days old tea. The food was decent, but my main goal was to get some sweet tea. Super disappointed.
