I like this poke venue because of the variety of sides, dressings and the portions of seafood. Love the spicy krab add on. Great value if you're craving poke! :)
So our experience at Poke Chop was mostly good but there were a few things that I'd like to mention. When we arrived there was a line (no big deal) we realized at that stage that we didn't have masks and they are requiring them for entry. One of the staff members told us (and another couple not wearing masks) that he would come outside to take our orders, which we thought was awesome! But.. he then told the 10 or so people behind us, they could go ahead and go inside ahead of us. They finally came out to take our order after all of those people were helped... he was very nice despite allowing everyone to line jump us. My husband and I both ordered a large bowl which comes with 5 scoops of protein. When we got our food, we decided to take it to go since seating is limited. When we got home and opened our bowls, both of us were not only missing some of our proteins but also some of our toppings. We felt a bit shorted since the large bowl is almost $20... but I'm still giving them 4 stars because the taste and freshness was on point And we appreciated them taking our order outside. They lose a star for the lack of attention to detail and not taking the customers in the order they arrived.
This place used to be my to go place. But today I forgot to bring my mask. When it was my turn to order, this guy asked me to leave without offering me mask or ordering from outside. Not cool.
This place is hand down THE BEST Poke in San Diego. I like how the portions are a good size, plus the sauces are amazing!
Pictures and Words do no justice.After visiting Seaworld, I finally convinced myself to try poke out here in San Diego. The guy working helped me pick out a bowl and honestly it tastes like heaven. Best poke I ever had, fresh salmon beautiful tuna soft yellow tail. Flavors were amazing as well ! I definitely will take the 105 mile drive just to come back and get my poke fix. La hasn’t nothing compared !!!

Staff is HILARIOUS and super helpful on how to pick out your food. It is so fresh and the portions are huge! Was so pleased and will be coming here a lot in the future. Only downside is no public restroom. I really needed to wash my hands after my huge sushi burrito!
I usually get the large just because I love that you can do 5 scoops. However, I have never been able to finish this in one sitting. So it’s great for two meals.One day I’ll try the Hamachi Kama bowl. They make it fresh, so you have to wait for it to cook.
Delicious fresh fish! Excellent poke on par with Hawaiian establishments. Generous portions, even the small is enough for an adult male with a moderate appetite. Large variety of mixes and sauces, vegan and vegetarian friendly options also available. Check it out!
