I was very excited to try this place and they didn't disappoint. Good food and great service. That brisket Wow really good. I will definitely be coming back.

OG Mac and cheese, Feast platter for twoBrisket, chicken and pulled pork with coleslaw, killer baked beans and bacon potato salad.Food was pretty good, price was decent. We ate until bellies were full and still take some to go boxes. Brisket and pulled pork definitely my favorite. We will for sure recommend and return for more BBQ.Best way to celebrate my anniversary with my beautiful wife.

Excelent service, buffalo wins are great, deep fried, crunchy and heavy coated in spicy Buffalo sauce. My daughter got the OG Mac and Cheese (pictured) and we ordered the 2 lbs Spare Ribs with onion rings and fries. Onion rings were good, fries were crispy but a little cold. I'm more of a baby back ribs fan, I would've given it 5 stars if at least I saw it on the menu. I'm not a BBQ expert but to me, the BBQ sauce was missing something it looked very see-through and tasted very acidic. Ambiance was good, they have Trivia Saturday at 7:45pm and good music. The manager/owner? (I assume) Stopped and asked us "How did we do tonight?" I loved the service, our waiter was kind, food came out fast. I would go back again and try the burgers next time.

Went on a whim... Saw them on a list of top BBQ spots in SD...packed our stomachs, our bowls and our flask...parking was a little tight, but there's secondary parking in the grocery store next door. They seated us right as we walked in, had a good crowd on a Sunday afternoon. Were playing the Padres game on the 'ol tube. I was feeling a little fruity so I had the Caribbean cocktail but the bf had my fave drink there, the whiskey business. That [email protected]#t is like a cold version of a hot toddy ??We got the party for 2 meal, which was PLENTY for 2 ppl. The brisket and the shoulder ...oooooooh girl, heart attack pero worth it!! Them sides though! The Mac and cheese, the killa beans were tasty but the street corn had me at hello❤️Because everything had been freaking delicious up until that point, I said fuggit and went for dessert....and I'll do it again the next time. The cherry delight and the apple crisp were sooo good. And it was housemade (sometimes restaurants buy desserts from third parties). These guys definitely have a gem on their hands...the food is great, the service was AWESOME and I'm pretty sure the reason why is because there's a lot of talent and a lot of love that goes into this spot."GET IN THE CHOPPA!!" ...OH! Wrong one.I mean, "I'll be back". ?

I had a friend come from out of town who requested BBQ for dinner, so we decided to try out Pioneer for the first time. We couldn't have had a more perfect evening. Our server Cassie was extremely helpful in helping us decide what to try and all of our food was excellent. She did an outstanding job taking care of us. Even the manager checked in on us after our delicious dessert, their bread pudding is to die for. We will definitely be coming back with more friends to show them this awesome place.

Service was definitely 5 stars. Servers and waitresses were really friendly & attentive. Never had to wait for anything, they kept checking in, clearing plates, refilling water, and kept pleasant conversations with us with the right amount of humor. Food was 4 stars all around. No complaints. Banana pudding was delicious. The brisket chili was good too. On this cloudy day, it hit the spot. The cherry dessert tasted like cheesecake. Would come back to try other things. The ambiance and free foosball tables was fun. The price for restaurant week was worth it. They close at 8pm on Sunday which seems kinda early, so be sure to get there earlier as one family got turned away for arriving too late.

The atmosphere was nice not much parking I recommend just going to Albertsons to park. Food was okay a little dry on the meat. In my opinion overpriced.

Awesome dining experience as always. I've been here several times before & they never miss. The service and food is always outstanding. I typically get the brisket and chicken which is great dipped in the barbecue sauce. Brisket here is especially tasty. I had an old-fashioned with my meal this evening which was really smooth and delicious. Hats off to the bartender.

In all honestly I really love the decor. There is so much to look at. Its a great place to come with friends or family. Great variety of adult drinks. The food was good. But I expected better. The service was a little slow this night even though it wasn't busy. Or favorite item of the night was the Brisket Chili.

The atmosphere inside was really nice. My family and friends really had a great time. To top it off everyone really enjoyed their meals so it looks like I'll be coming back.
