This place has the best Pho ? I’ve had in San Diego. That’s why I ordered the French Beef StewUnfortunately it was disappointing on several levels.They advertise a Baguette ? as an option over rice. I was really looking forward to dipping that crunchy bread into the stew. Instead I got a Mexican roll that’s soft and not very good when you dip it in the sauce.The portions seem off? Not sure if it’s because I got it to go or if 3 cubes of meat and 5 carrot ? chunks is normal? It wasn’t worth $13Flavors in the stew are good and the meat is extra tender. Think they reheat your portion when you order. Very good flavor just nothing to the meal??I’m glad I got the rice ? too or I would still be hungry. I recommend the PHO here don’t go with this stew unless they have a REAL baguette ?3 stars for stew flavor only, the meal was not worth it.
Place wasn't too far from the place I stayed and the kids wanted to eat pho, so decided to try since it was near by with good reviews.Service - The service almost made me give the restaurant a 3 star. Owner or older guy who works here has to work on his customer service skills, the way he was taking orders or following up on questions wasnt satisfactory in my opinion.Food - Came out pretty quick, the portions are normal size, and the taste is pretty authentic with good taste.Prices - Decent for a place like this.Venue - Simple, ok seating, and clean.Parking - Big lot in the plaza so easy to find parking here in the lot.
A bit west from Mira Mesa and all of the other Asian food which makes it convenient if you're coming from the 5 freeway. Good prices and I enjoyed the food. Customer service was excellent. Veggie egg roll sauce could use something tho
Really solid bowl of pho, the tendon (my favorite meat) was great! Chill vibes, grwat service.
You can taste authentic pho in this place.
Better than average Pho restaurant. Clean setting, quick service, and tasty dishes. Tried the tofu spring rolls (tasty but skin was a bit thick), pho (really nice broth), and curry chicken (tasty and didn’t skimp on the chicken). Ample parking nearby. Recommend overall.
There was a small wait for a table at lunchtime, which gave us time to decide what we were going to order. Service was good once we were seated.Food came out quickly after we ordered. I got pho, which was fresh and flavorful.Tasty, good-sized portions, and good prices. We’ll be back!
Bug in my food. The worst part is that the guy that works there accused me of putting the bug in there myself. I was respectful and just wanted my refund. (Also brought the food back to show them. It was still full). He said he can’t give me a refund but can give me new food. I didn’t want the new food because how do I know the rest of the food don’t have bugs inside? It was my first time at this place and will never go again. He could’ve handled it a lot better but was so rude to me by giving me dirty looks, yelling and accusing me of putting the bug in there. When all I did was stay calm. They saw I was recording and eventually gave me my refund. Wasted my time for nothing.
Love the custom pho bowl option. And they offer choices of protein! Plenty of parking.
Awesome boeuf bourguignon or Banh mi Bo kho! Served with the traditional French baguette :-)
