Great location , great service, food exactly as expected and great drinks on offer. It was really clean and loads of seating was avail
Honestly the food is over-rated and the drinks were not made properly. The chicken was dry and burnt, baked beans were too sweet and not good, corn bread was way too sweet and expensive. The onion rings were not crispy and hard to eat. My buddy asked for his corn that he had ordered twice (from a cashier and a manager) and it never came. In regards to the drinks, we asked for a Washington apples and the bartender asked if it was a mixed drink. He was not sure how to make it. Ribs were about the only thing that was ok. I wouldn't go again and i suggest you don't go either.
Best ribs in town! Onion rings super recommended as well. Don’t lose the chance to visit is when you get in San Diego!!!!!
We ordered the full port rib and then asked to switch to full beef rib right before the order was ready and it was very smooth and got the new one right away. Worthy to wait 30~40 min.
It’s been a while since I’ve been here so I’m glad to see the quality of food has remained the same if not better. I went in at the perfect time, there was no line and the food came out quick. The ribs were delicious especially because I was craving something meaty. Fall off the bone ribs with a mouth watering BBQ sauce. The bar was nice and it also comes with service, so you can order from your table. Whereas the rest of the restaurant it’s ordered upfront. All in all I had a pleasant experience and satisfied my cravings. Highly recommend.
Visiting SD from New Mexico. This BBQ is the best I’ve had since being in Georgia. Meat is flavorful and the sauce is the perfect addition. Adrian took good care of us and was amazing!! He caught us staring at the menus outside and let us know they have full service and gave us some recommendation. Food was just perfect amount for 2 people without feeling overly stuffed. Would definitely recommend and would come back
Can be busy with long lines, but food was great. Always get the link and drink with your meal for a great deal. Ribs were. Perfect, but chicken is a bit dry but still good. But, you're definitely coming here for the ribs... Right?
Great food at the airport! Had to try the BBQ Broham sandwich with fries at 9am...lol.... Excellent pulled pork. Definitely would eat again and not just at the airport!
I went to Phil’s for dinner based on several good reviews and recommendations from a few locals. It was fairly crowded when I arrived. I ordered the Tri Tip sandwich with bacon on it, a side sausage and coleslaw. This is the meal Adam Richman had on Man v Food a decade ago, and it was fantastic. The sandwich meat was well cooked and tasty. I recommend adding the bacon to the sandwich for the extra flavor. The coleslaw was very fresh and delicious. I wished I could have had room for their onion rings as the table next to me at them and raved about them. The side sausage is huge and fantastic, definitely not to be missed. The free refills on sodas was nice. I will take my family to this restaurant next time they are in town. Very friendly staff with a very nice selection that I will try next time.
Some of the best BBQ I’ve had in socal.Tons of food, extremely flavorful ribs and slaw. Onion rings were lightly fried paired with some ranch is the move. French fries were crispy and soft. The potato salad is still on my mind, very light and delicious.Get as many containers of their bbq sauce as you can get. Soak the ribs in it because it’s some of the best sauce I’ve had.10/10 spot to check out when visiting
