planning to visit soon

Shrimp po boy was on point. Super delicious. The Ipswich clams was just OK. The fries were undercooked and were trashed.

My husband and I are visiting from Tucson. Our neighbor here told us about Pete's. I am originally from Massachusetts and love Maine lobsta! Pete greeted us when we walked in and got talking with him and he knows my BFF's husbands family from N Redding MA!!! The lobsta roll was excellent, the Ipswich clams excellent and the scallops, melt in your mouth! We also had the lobsta bisque ...so delicious!!! Thanks Pete for bringing New England to North Park SD!!!!! It was a pleasure to meet you!! With food that is as good as yours , you will have continued success!!

Great little neighborhood seafood place. East coast seafood and a owner from Boston who I did not have the pleasure of meeting. Chris was serving and was very friendly and happy to strike up a conversation.Got the lobster roll filled with real lobster. Also the double chicken parm sandwich that had a huge mozzarella patty on the chicken. Started with the clam chowder filled with clams and potatoes. And such big portions.Places like these NEED to stay around. Great food and great people. Thats what life should be about. Thanks guys for a great meal.

The restaurant is pretty unassuming, ordering at the counter and putting a number on the table for the food to be delivered. My mother and I had the mango-chipotle grilled shrimp which were delicious and a good portion size. My daughter had the fish and chips which is often mediocre but the New England Cod was flakey, moist and delicious. The manager and staff made us feel very welcome.

Excellent food and service!

Really great place for breakfast, lunch and brunch. The mozzarella sticks are homemade (I recommend the one with pepperjack cheese) and they have good seafood options as well. Very nice Cafe vibe indoors too.

We are from the East Coast and love haddock. We learned that Pete's Seafood and Sandwich shop had haddock on the weekends. We drove down today and it was open. The haddock was FABULOUS!!! We will be regular customers, now!!!

We stopped here for lunch on a Saturday. Parking is a little tight, but it was good to take a little walk after we stuffed ourselves. Three of us got the scallop and fish platter, the shrimp and fish platter, and the crab cakes. The fish special was haddock, which we upgraded to, otherwise it’s cod which I’m sure would have been equally fantastic. The breading was great. The haddock was tender and the shrimp and scallops were delicious. The crab cakes were huge and had just a little bite to them. The tartar, cocktail, and remoulade sauces were all good. All the platters come with coleslaw (yummy, creamy) and fries that were so good they didn’t need catsup. Or you could switch the fries for creamy pasta salad which was equally tasty. Beverages are canned selections out of a cooler, or you can get cups of water. Pete, the owner is a Boston area transplant, so we talked with him about our second favorite place to visit. We can’t wait to go back and try the lobster roll!

Everything I've had so far has been fantasticLobster roll is filled with lobster and has no fillerFish and chips are perfect, breading is just enough for a crunch and doesn't cross the line of being too much. French fries are SO delicious.Oh and the clam chowder is creamy and full of clams. I've ordered it every time I go.
