Really wanted to love this place as I’m a huge poke fan, however I was disappointed that you could not build your own bowl here. All bowls came with seaweed salad, crab salad, onions and scallions. If these are all toppings you love then this is your place. I wish I read the entire menu before ordering as I overpaid and was underwhelmed by the food received. Also, I paid extra for avocado that was almost completely brown. ??
Absolutely my fave Poke shop in PB. Fresh fish and the flavors are on point. The 51/50 and Volcano bowls are my fave. Although they have a set menu I can still customize my bowl and have add ons??
Delicious! Generous serving of tuna and/or salmon in the bowls filled us up.! Try their lemonade-pineapple. Refreshing in the heat. The macarons are spot on scrumptious, I could snack on those all day! (They also have A.C. inside and small tables to sit at.)
A great poke bowl. Probably best I’ve had on the mainland so far. They are generous with the fish portions and not over-sauced, just right. Highly recommend!
Amazing food and such a sweet staff. Will definitely be back!
All the food we have gotten in San Diego has been incredible but PB Poke House was by far the BEST. I got the 51/50 and my husband got the Maui bowl. Both bowls were so delicious. Great spice level, the toppings made it even better but the real star of the show was the fish. So fresh tasting and absolutely amazing. The bowl is light enough that you feel satisfied and great after eating it. We would definitely eat here again!!
This is a cool spot pumping out delicious poke! I tried the 5150 bowl, and a few of my friends tried other bowls which all looked fire! Aside from the great poke menu they also have some delicious drinks! The service came fast with a smile from Marie and Jasamine, making all of us feel welcomed as we enjoyed all the yummy food. I will definitely come back because the food was fresh and the drinks were poppin!! There is plenty of parking, and it's right on the corner of this little shopping center. Employees wore masks, had barriers for check out, and wiped down per guest. This is a very well kept and clean establishment
We are staying in Pacific Beach for a few days and essentially stumbled into this place. Picked up a Shrimp Ponzu Poke bowl. It was so good we went back the next night and added a spam musubi to the dinner. Unassuming location, friendly outgoing staff and great priced Poke.
I lived in pacific beach for 6 months and would get PB poke every chance I got. I haven’t lived in PB for over a year now and I still dream about PB poke. Every once in a while I look up pics of their bowls and just die with jealousy but it’s the closest thing I can get, just drooling over pics! There’s no poke in the world like PB Poke! Eat it every chance you get and don’t take a moment for granted! PB POKE FOR LIFE!
We got 3 things and didn't like any of them.Match iced tea had a fishy or seaweed flavor to it.The shrimp ponzu, the shrimp were tough and flavor wasn't great. The Maui was pretty bland despite being covered in sauce. The Krab salad for both was very dry.If this was the first time I ever had Poke I probably would say I don't enjoy Poke.To top it off, it was expensive at $45 for 2 people.
