This is my third stop on the San Diego Vegan tour. This is a cute place in Little Italy San Diego. I went with the mushroom and cheese panini with a dark chocolate Gelato. I'm loving Vegan food the more I eat it. They have several items that will make any Vegans happy. Non Vegans will also love this place too. I left with a happy tummy
After eating dinner at another local hot spot (see other review) we found this place and it was perfect!! With a open patio on the sidewalk we were able to get Gelato and a cappuccino and relax outside to enjoy the perfect time Night. The full coffee bar had endless options and the Gelato was spot on!!! Even for a Saturday night there was a short line and it went fast! The smallest size of gelato gives you two scoops which is the perfect amount! If you're in Little Italy this is DEFINITELY the dessert spot you should try!!
Stopped in during a warm evening and picked up some Gelato, a cookie, and a cannoli. Service was fast and the food excellent.
One of the best restaurants to go to in Little Italy. I have the best sandwiches soups and ice creams with different flavors and lots of variety. The coffee is on point and I'm not a coffee person. A surprise at every corner with love. Check out this little ?
I come here every time I visit San Diego! I get a cappuccino and a vegan focaccia. They are both incredibly delicious, as they have been over the years. The restaurant has updated their look and it's beautiful! The staff is always friendly and wonderful! I'll continue coming here as long as they are here
You feel like a regular quickly at Pappalecco. Don't be fooled by the apparent emphasis on coffee and gelato: the baked goods are excellent as well. We keep returning for more happiness.
I had the amazing experience of accidentally stumbling across this place with a coworker on a three day business trip to San Diego. We went back…every day. This gem is truly something special. Not only are the pastries, omelets and coffee out of this world good but the staff is beyond next level. They are kind and welcoming and feel like instant friends. I don’t care what else you have on the agenda in the city but this place is an absolute must…you will leave with both a happy heart and happy belly. Thank you!!!
Awesome place! Thank you for the experience. Big smiles the entire time and good quality products.Definitely hard to find places were it's not just about getting a cup of coffee. Engagement, eye contact and a lil conversation is way more valuable than getting a good cup of coffee.
This spot is amazing! The gentlemen who made our coffees was so kind and welcoming. Our lattes are amazing and my friend even got one of their cute little pink cups! Great place for locals and out of towners. Thank you!!!
We came for a light lunch and split a pollo panini. It was good but not as toasty and flattened as a panini should be- there was a dab of sauce on either side of the plate for dipping. One was pesto and the other was a balsamic reduction but there wasn’t really enough to on the plate. We tried a small scoop of pistachio gelato which was did not compare to the gelato I’ve eaten in Italy. We were hoping for a more authentic experience in Little Italy.
