I had the Cabo roll with a side of eel sauce because i prefer sweeter rolls, SO GOOD. The lemon with sweet sauce was so good and i found out i love cilantro on sushi. Very zesty roll, id recommend getting some eel sauce ?

Chef’s special sashimi is outstanding. Ramen is decent. Hamachi Kama is a gem and delicious. Great dining place while charging the car

Called ahead so i wouldn't have to wait long. I was told that it will be ready in 30 minutes I get and I still had to wait around 20mins extra. I get home and this is what I get one soap half way and the other one less than half. Disappointment

Food here is always great! The last two visits, service is almost non existent. Order was wrong, we had to get our own chop sticks, napkins ect. No salad dressing or soy sauce. Painfully slow. Get it to go and eat at home!

We ordered several rolls, delivered via Door Dash. The cucumber roll was TINY for $5.50 and sloppily put together (literally completely falling apart). I also noticed that the exact same cucumber roll was only $3.50 (a much more reasonable price) in a photo of the menu from only 2 years ago. It's possible that part of this was some markup for their Door Dash pricing (in addition to the fees we had to pay for Door Dash on our end), but it's still far too expensive for a tiny roll with only a small amount of rice and a few pieces of cucumber in it--we were expecting a decent size roll for that price. For the other rolls, there was also a ton of issues...there were bones in the eel, the avocado seemed old, and there was also a huge piece of old looking carrot randomly in one section of the Balboa roll. The amount of eel in the caterpillar roll was ridiculously small, as well. Additionally, the portion sizes were quite small given the price (and small compared to the pictures I see on the Google page). Finally, I wasn't pleased that the cucumber roll (purchased for someone who doesn't eat fish) was put in the same container as the other rolls that included fish.

One of my favorite sushi spots in San Diego! Definitely top 3 material, their ingredients are always fresh and quality is always top notch. Whether to-go or dining in, I've always come away impressed and satisfied with the food. The Murica roll is a must-try!

Poor service and worse sushi. The tuna looked dyed and tasted terrible. Don't good here

This place is Outstanding!! Always fresh and Gooood. Dont be in a rush come in and sit and enjoy it well worth it..

It is cheaper priced in some aspects while being more in other areas. It was just so-so. I have had better up the way. Service took longer than what it should but I am more judging this placed by its quality of food and pricing for what you get. We may try it again when we are in the area.

The place is very cute, kinda small inside but it also has outdoor seating. It has a relaxing esthetic. They have beer, wine, sake, sodas, and teas. Get the Kamikaze Fries! Besides the sushi they also have noodle dishes, salads, desserts, and lunch specials. Can’t wait to try them again
