My usual go to spot is Gen Korean BBQ on Mira Mesa. Decided to try this place a bit closer to home for an all you can eat treat. The price was about $10 per person higher than Gen, yet the meat selection was inferior. Service was also mediocre. The staff were trying to do their best but they were spread too thin. Will probably not go back for all you can eat.Their A-La-Carte bento boxes are really good value during lunchtime. Highly recommended.

I had never been to a Korean barbecue prior to this....It was spacious and clean inside. It is $30 for the regular meat options and $40 for the special one. Those prices are per person but you get to choose an unlimited amount of meats and veggies so the value per dollar is good.The staff was friendly from the moment we walked in the door.. They were knowledgeable about the food, the options and gladly educated us newbies on how to order. They were "on it" as far as service and were quick to refill everything and swap out the grill often.The food options themselves were delicious and plentiful. You do have to cook your own food so be prepared. But there is a list of ingredients that can be paired with all of your choices from steamed egg, rice, glass noodles, vegetables, meat and various sauces. Plenty of choices to to create wonderful food.I would highly recommend this if your pocketbook allows..... be prepared to eat a lot to get the value for your dollar.
Been to numerous Korean BBQ restaurants to include restaurants in Korea (USAF) and Olleh Korean BBQ is the "real deal". Awesome all-you-can-eat and super friendly staff. We discovered this gem after our niece purchased a home 1 mile away. We're from VA and return to CA annually. This will be a destination. The food is so great, we came back the next night with other family members not knowing we needed to make a reservation. John, the Manager allowed us to dine since he recognized us from the previous day. Treat yourself, you won't be disappointed.
