The food was delicious and the service was very friendly. Highly recommend the maple bourbon wings and mac n cheese. Really looking forward to trying the other items on the menu.
An amazing find on 3rd ave and now I am lucky they are here in Eastlake. As a Texas girl, their BBQ reminds me of home. The brisket melts in your mouth, put that on one of their loaded potatoes and you will be in food heaven. Recently discovered their wings. The mango habanero wings have the right mixture of spicy and sweet. They are now my favorite wing spot. Not to mention my kid is all about their mac and cheese. Now if I can only convince my husband that it is okay to eat BBQ everyday.
$13 for a little scoop of only pulled pork (Which tasted like vinegar) the order took way too long to get to me. Ordered a side of Mac & cheese (since they said it was their best side) for 2.50 and it was soggy. AND it got me SICK! Completely disappointed! Never coming here again.
Amazing smoked meats with a great char. Highly recommend their chicken and ribs. You can definitely taste the quality of meats they use and their sauces and dry rub is very tasty. Hope to see them with expanded hours!!!
Being from South Carolina I have been missing wood smoked meat. This place hits the mark. Family owned, Black owned and Veteran owned.
All my opinion but this is coming from someone who cooks .Mac n cheese- sauce was broken cheese was clumpy and pasta was way past done.Sausage- saltyBrisket - 5050 some tough and some tender flavor was bland and the smoke really ruins your tongue .Tri-tip -tender but no flavorBbq sauce was tastyThe smoke is overwhelming and flavor is bland .Sucks because I love bbq.
Highly recommend this place. Quality of meats are great and the smoke flavor / dry rub / sauce is really good. Their chicken and ribs were my favorite so far.
Absolutely DEEEEELICIOUS ? Best pork belly of my life! Very tender with a nice char. The Texas baked beans were fantastic too! Excellent robust flavor all around. AND. THAT. SAUCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am usually not a fan of sauce but I reeealllllyyyy liked both the mild and hot sauce. We cannot wait to go back and try everything on the menu twice over. Definitely check them out!!!
I'd heard such rave reviews about this place, so my family and I were really excited to try it out. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the hype. We tried the chicken, tri-tip, mac and cheese, potato salad and beans. The only thing we thought was okay, was the beans. Everything else lacked flavor and the portions were small, for what they charge. My son's chicken was not only small, but was overcooked. I couldn't even enjoy the "mild" bbq sauce. It was tangy and spicy. I was going to give only one star. I gave it two, because the employees that took our order were nice. It was such a waste of $60.
