Great selection of beers on tap. Good place to hangout and grab a beer without the pretense of being the "in thing" - no fancy speakeasy vibes or back alley doors into overpriced lounges.
Great extensive beer selection, the food is great as well whether you want to eat clean or chow down on some burgers/wings and fries. This is definitely one of the staples of San Diego as far as beer bars go that have an established cult like following. Love coming here!
Burger was delicious. Good beer selection. The parking lot was crazy crowded at Friday lunchtime, so plan to park on the street.
Small place so it can get crowded quick. Long list of on tap beers with a wide selections...they even had a cider and a Meade when I was just there.Always have a few specials each day. Food is pretty good too. Just be very aware that parking can be nightmarish.
Nice place, pretty laid back and good service. Their beer menu is great, but food menu is pretty limited. Not much traditional fare but it's a nice casual place to hang out in.
Great selection of beer on tap. Steak was perfectly cooked and delicious. I wish their Buffalo wings were a bit more saucy but they are still good. Go get a pint and a meal you won't be disappointed
We we’re told about this Lil ? by Angie, while we we’re always looking for local places to go to and check out! Super friendly folks from the staff to the patrons! Everyone was really awesome!!!! Roxi and I loved this place it will be our new go to spot!!

The beer selection and food. Demerit on atmosphere but that's not why you come here. Zero pretense.
Good selection, sometimes. Sometimes they advertise beer which is long gone. Also they overcharge opportunistically.I had a $9 beer sold to me for $15, only to have the bartender make a scene and tell me their color coding price system isn't always true. They lie and rip people off.
