I grew up in San Diego in the early 70s my parents would go there. I remember they had BBQ on the weekends in the parking lot. Fast forward to 2022 and walking up to it was kinda trippy. Place looks ?.
If you're looking for a drive bar with cheap drinks, pool tables and pinball machines then look no further. The bartenders are super friendly, easy going and will give you a dirty look if you order something like a cosmopolitan. This is my favorite place to end the night and it's usually not too crowded.
4 Pinball machines make it a nice outing plus the drinks are good and reasonably priced.

I bartended in this country and number of other countries around the world. Usually bartenders trying to keep the customers happy. And this place they gave me a martini that was completely unacceptable. Regular martini that looks brown. The answer was this is a dive bar and we don’t serve martinis. Really!!Doesn’t matter what kind of drink you order, if you have the ingredients, bartender should be able to make it. Charge me for the martini that I didn’t drink and I unfortunately have to leave
