Terrible foot, slow service and a waiter that had the worst BO I thought it had got into my food. Q0 top worst meals of my life. The one positive is that I didn't get food poisoning.

I had hot and sour soup. Was not as sour as I typically enjoy it, but it was still tasty. I also had beef and broccoli and shrimp with cashews. Was eating with daughter and had to keep it mild. The food was yummy the portions were really generous. Will eat here again.

Last night my wife ordered some Diced Chicken with Chili Pepper from here and it was AMAZING!!! That stuff was spicy, just the way I like it! The dish was irresistable. It reminded me of a place down in Convoy that had closed down. I'm so glad my wife found you guys!!

They have the same owner as Mada Sao, which was a malatang/Shanghai restaurant we used to enjoy on Convoy, but during the pandemic they moved their Mada Sao menu over to combine with Mr Holy Gao in Sorrento Valley. The malatang at Mada Sao was set up so you could go up to a buffet and pick out a set number of skewers of your choice and then they'd cook it for you in a spicy-numbing broth and then bring it back out and serve it with your choice of noodles or rice. Now you have to ask specifically for the Mada Sao menu but it's all in Chinese and you just write down which skewers you want. Its about $25 for 25 skewers, with variety of seafood, meats, and veg to choose from.We opted for a malatang set instead of skewers, which allows you to choose just one type of meat and comes with variety of set veg like cabbage, daikon, lotus roots and mushrooms, as well as rice or noodles of your choice. We went with beef, flat glass noodles, and medium spicy broth, all for about $15. Honestly we coulda just split this because it was a lot of food ? That broth was magic - slightly spicy with only a touch of the citrusy numbing so it didn't overwhelm our senses or kill our taste buds from tasting anything else the rest of the day ?We also got the Yu Hsiang pork lunch set which came with rice, hard boiled egg and a spring roll. They have lunch specials from $10-$14 , which is a great deal for the portions they give. They have banquet space, so their menu has plenty of family sized traditional Chinese options too.

I really used to like this place I would drive from Oceanside to Mira Mesa because we loved their food. The food was the same but the ambiance is lousy and the prices are a bit high.

Not worth the price, I got sweet and sour pork, it had bones on it, very difficult to eat, tasted like that the sauce was burned, or the oil was too old, expensive!

I am from out of town and I figured I would try this place out since it was only three minutes away from my hotel. I ordered one of my favorite entrées a orange chicken plate with wontons and this is what I got. My total came out to $29 and some change for this pathetic meal. The chicken is smothered in so much sauce that it is basically inedible. What you see in the picture is what was left after I took four bites out of it. I typically do not post reviews but this really has me upset. Needless to say I should have asked for a refund. I have had better meals from McDonald's on the bad day than this meal and I most certainly do not recommend anyone to order the orange chicken from here.

I like their workday lunch specials.

I have been here a few times, good for a quick work meal or gathering with friends and family. The price is very fair and it is an authentic Chinese place! The good Chinese food usually takes lots of skills, we do not put lots of spices when the ingredients are fresh. Looking forward to trying their Shanghai hotpot!

Very neat and convenient place. They provide large portions and for reasonable prices. I loved the food very much and the staff were very attentive and explanatory. Highly recommended.
