Mediocre country music bar with a poor customer service attitude. Bouncer rejected members of our party because they only had military IDs. I guess they need to send their intel insights to the government and TSA because they’re wise to something the rest of us are unaware of. Or they have a problem with service members, a pretty embarrassing problem for a bar in a military town. Once inside it took a while to find anything resembling country music and even then it was mediocre at best. Decidedly unimpressive dive bar with an entitled attitude that is completely undeserved.
***BEWARE WHEN PAYING COVER*** moonshine beach but I felt very taken advantage of by them Friday night and felt the need to warn others. As I go to pay cover with my card, I noticed that the worker changed the tip amount to 25%. A 25% tip for just paying cover?!? This girl working probably thought she could get away with that because everyone’s drunk and not paying attention but Thankfully I wasn’t very intoxicated and noticed it right away, but it madeMe think how many other people didn’t notice it and paid without checking?! It really disappoints me that this establishment or the girl working, would do this. I love this place but it makes me hesitant to keep going back.
This bar is amazing. The atmosphere is fun, the bartenders are kind, the security keeps everyone safe, and the shot chairs are the best. My friends and I come here often and we always have such a good memorable night filled with dancing (affordable) drinks, and new memories.
It's a great time, but you can't leave with anything, which also means the red bulls they sell so if you're a DD, they won't let you leave with a $6.00 8oz redbull to drive home other drink people.
Could be the only bar left in SD and I’d still live there. They let you play basketball on the outside turf as long as you keep your shirts on and the back left corner bar by the stage is bussin’.
Lots of space for multiple bar activities including Cornhole, karaoke, line dancing and live music. You have to pay a cover to get in even at like 7 pm on a Saturday though... If you're looking for a more country feel in PB highly recommend. Minus a star for a five dollar cover so early in the night.
Extremely unprofessional bouncer, refused to recognize a valid military ID even with second forms. Had no respect for service members and laughed when we questioned them. Preach an American/country bar but staff seems to not have any values. Would not recommend.
Best Beach club in Pacific Beach SD. It may get to crowded on Saturdays but the experience is worth it. You can get free entry before 9 pm and later there is a fee of $10
Great live music. It can get a little rowdy but it definitely has a fun vibe.
Fun! Good small concert venue, country line dancing...etc. Nice, new outdoor space
