This is a great little place to catch a quick bite. It is a busy place though so be prepared for lines. We've been here several times now and it's not disappointed. Great prices and yummy tacos. Highly recommend the shrimp tacos but the halibut were good, too! Skip ordering the "plate" which came with tortilla chips & verde salsa along with a small cup of pinto beans. If you want more than just tacos, get a side of fries instead.

This is just a local little seafood place right on the harbor. You sit outside at counters that overlook the water. The Ceviche was excellent, the Yellowtail fish was cooked perfectly and had great flavor and the clam chowder was pretty decent. It's a great place for locals. The food is fresh and tasty and a place I would go back to again.

Could not have found a better view of the fishing harbor. Local place with a good vibe. Can get really busy. Had breakfast, chilaquiles in red sauce with two eggs, cotija cheese and some crema. Corn tortillas were cut in strips to allow for more surface area to allow the sauce to flavor. Good flavor with a hint of spice (Needed some Tapatio for me). Great value for today and the rest of the menu looked wonderful and real San Diego food. Will be back for breakfast and to try some other menu items. More to come...

Travel is all about trying the great local food. Dining recommendation time! We dined at Mitch's Seafood last month as part finalizing our new San Diego group travel experience. A big part of group travel is choosing great local dining establishments that represents the quality and vibe of the area. Well ... Mitch's Seafood fills that role perfectly! Featuring sustainably-source seafood, Mitch's offers a wide variety of seafood -- from different tacos and fish entrees. They also excel at their side menu items, such as Mexican style corn and Cole slaw. If you enjoy seafood, you will enjoy the variety at Mitch's.In addition, the place has a real seafood shack vibe going on (it is along a Point Loma pier area), the staff are friendly and helpful, and it's a great place to eat, chat, and hang out.

If you want seafood in an authentic local atmosphere, this is your place. The seafood is fresh and delicious. It’s not elegant dining, but Mitch’s is where the locals go for seafood meals.

Good fish and friendly service. You must stand in line and order and they give you a number and bring it to your table inside or outside. We thought the food price was good but the beer at 9.00 was bad. We had one then went elsewhere. They are open for breakfast early and start lunch at 11:00. Beautiful view of the marina. Nice and peaceful. Clean restrooms. Efficient even tho you have to stand in line to order. The cod seemed very fresh. We prefer halibut but didn’t see it on the menu.

What a great find! This is a classic seafood shack - great sustainably source seafood at great prices. Absolutely the best of all worlds! Situated along a dock in San Diego not far from The Monsaraz hotel, Mitch's rocks the menu. I had the shrimp tacos, street corn, and fries. Delicious! For all of the highly priced eateries in San Diego, this is a place where you can bring the entire family, enjoy the dockside life, and chow on some really great food. Keep up the great work because this is how seafood is done right!

Breakfast on Sunday then on Monday with my son and husband?complements to Cheff June 26 and 27 Best Crab Cake eggs Benedict i had in a long time. Sauce was good as i have sensitive stomach so all ingredients from A to Z matter. Thank you?i appreciate it that it was clean and staff friendly. The price is right and water view and marina is spectacular.

There is no better place to eat fresh seafood than right here on the dock. The grilled halibut was amazing. The coleslaw had a uniqueness to it and was delicious. The side of french fries were cooked to perfection. Great dining experience with relaxing views.
