Chinese Noodles Soup

3 1/2 Stars: This was my favorite Chinese restaurant at one point. But after returning here from being away for over 6 years, this place has lost it's original taste. Food is not as flavorful. I don't know what happened to the original cook. There's no love in the cooking like before. Food is still okay and the prices are still very good. I was in denial before and kept trying their food. Sadly, it's not the same. My go to was the combo fried rice (used to be my favorite), duck, ginger chicken leg, and wonton dumpling egg noodles soup.

Pretty decent food even though or maybe because it's a hole in a wall. The roast duck noodles came with a lot of meat but the broth is very light. Maybe the darker broth is a different style. Lots of sauces to add to flavor the broth though. Parking is a pain. Don't bother trying to go into the lot because you might not be able to get out.

Duck on noodles taste average. The noodles are cheaper ramen style. The duck still bones in it. Duck is flavorful but the rest of the meal flavor wise is average. Prices are average . I am still searching for excellent Chinese in San Diego .

real authentic chinese food…delicious, friendly service and the place was clean. definitely recommended and will come back again soon.

I've been coming here for a few years and I always order their wonton noodle soup. This is hands down the best spot for wonton...it's always deliciously consistent and the service is quick. They have tons of other dishes that are equally delicious, but I love my noods. Check this hidden gem out.

Love their food, I wish this place is closer to where I live. I’d definitely visit often.

Small and amazing is what this place is. The prices are spot on, the service is good and the food is very tasty and authentic.

As a NJ resident of 18+ years, I was spoiled with good and abundant Asian restaurants that shaped the taste I expect. After being excited by the high reviews of this place, I decided to get a few items from their menu for dinner but it was not quite what I expected. The food wasn’t bad per se and the prices were okay, but it was not the quality I’d expect from a highly rated restaurant. The fried rice was a bit sticky, sort of like they used same day rice (as opposed to leftover rice from the day before) and the lo mein just felt plain compared to what I’m used to.I might order again to try different menu items since some restaurants have their specialties but I do have my go-tos so if they can’t make those those the way I like them then I will have to continue my search for a proper Chinese restaurant.

Best place ever! If you want the real chinese food and experience, you would want to come here. I always get a dish with duck meat. I have always been surprised how good it is. The staff is friendly and the place has good vibes. Patrons are always happy to chat with. Everyone loves to come here. I hear the dumplings with soup are good. I will get that next!!!Maybe I will get the duck to do than lol.

Great food, a wide variety to choose from. Service was efficient. Parking... not so good.
