I ordered a chicken kabob pita sandwich and received a sandwich with some chicken mixed in with scraps of gyro meat and a 1 inch burnt skewer! When I brought this to the attention of the restaurant, they told me that was normal because the chicken was roasted on skewers and it must have just fallen in. They shrugged it off and didn’t even bother to apologize or replace the sandwich. I understand mistakes happen but that is not the way to treat your customers. What happened to this place?!

How did I not know there was a location so close to me!? I have had the best experiences at the Solana location and somehow just realized they had a location closer to home. $12 for this massive bowl which will last me two meals, great recommendations, generous samples. These people are proud of their product & they have every right to be. There's a Cava (chain Mediterranean food) even closer to me and I will be driving for this tasty authentic restaurant instead. I'm a loyal fan!
Micheline's has the best Falafels Ive had in a minute. Its really rare when you can find a spot that will NOT over cook them. Always Green when you crack them open. Really delicious and filling. Everything is fresh! its worth the price for a wrap or falafel sandwich. $10-12 is a bit pricy for me but Im always down for Micheline's Falafels! SO GOOD! Staff is super good too!
The food here is consistently excellent and fresh. The people who work here are nice and efficient. Prices are fantastic for the amount and quality of the food. So happy to have this in Del Mar Highlands.

Truly a hidden gem. From the outside you wouldn't know that his is one of the most authentic and best tasting Mediterranean / shawarma places in North County. I used to have to drive to Hillcrest or further to find such flavor.They have quite a large menu with every possible take (whether you want a bowl, a plate, a salad, a wrap, a pita sandwich, etc. they've got it covered). I had the steak shawarma plate and it didn't disappoint! I will be back to try more.
