This is my second time here and the food and service was excellent. My server Desiree was very polite, friendly and made my dining experience wonderful. The food is very consistent and made me feel like I was at Max's in Passay City at MOA.Thank you!!Kevin

Expensive filipino food. We ordered crab fried rice, kare-kare, lechon and half of the Max chicken. Crab rice is too fishy tasting for me not what I expected. The lechon is very oily and not crispy. Kare-kare is basic and had better in other places. The only thing that deserve 3 stars was the chicken. If you want super crispy chicken this is the place. The other food choices are basic. We paid 75+ tip for 2 people.

Where to start, horrible service, poor quality foodAdded 18% tip. I have to assume they felt they were doing great. There are much better choices in the area.

I don't like being charged 18% on my bill automatically both times I've been there the service wasn't that great!! The food was awesome but the service definitely not worth 18% tip

Very clean and polite staff. Food is freshly cooked and delicious

I have a love and hate relationship with Max’s chicken Restaurant. I love their food (fried chicken whole $16 and large garlic fried rice $8). But their service in this location San Diego and Las Vegas are consistent with each other, service is so bad. * When you walk in, most of the time there’s no hostess * For some reason their employees are always inside the kitchen. It’s so hard to find someone to ask for the check, to go box and refill on waters. * When someone does come out from the kitchen they don’t even acknowledge you, but they saw. I went to the Glendale location twice their service was good, but there’s always a long wait. So opposite to San Diego and Vegas location there’s no wait and service is bad.

This thee best place to get BBQ pork skewers. Only 4 something a piece I think , not much and thier is NO gristle. just great tasting BBQ Pork ! I go to the one on Mira Mesa Blvd.

the food hits different and staff is friendly

Friendly staff and great food!

It was a bit strange, as they are currently pretty severely understaffed. It shows in the turnaround time from ordering food to receiving it. What took longest, however, was waiting to be seated when we arrived. We were instructed to talk to the host, but they were nowhere near the entrance...The food was interesting to say the least. The server upsold us on the dish we ordered to share. The food itself was interesting, too say the least. It was quite cooking as well. If like to return subsume to try other dishes, but perhaps with a larger group, so as to try more different dishesThe only real complaint I have is that service was a bit slow, but I understand the bad circumstances Max's, as well as most other restaurants, in which it finds itself.
