I was excited because of the great reviews but quickly let down. I ordered gluten free orange chicken because I read a review saying they would make most things gluten free. I could understand if the flouring wasn’t good but that was fine, I just couldn’t find any chicken. It tasted like fried flour and it was thin strips. The Mongolian beef my BF had was onions and some beef and OK. We both stopped eating and are still hungry.
Awesome food, amazing people!! Kung Pao is my all-time favorite, but everything is great
10/10 best Chinese food I’ve had in years!! The quality is great and the flavors are insane. Found this spot during the pandemic when nothing was open and I haven’t stopped going since.
Good food, nice family run place. They gladly customize orders and ate one of the few places that actually makes classic egg rolls - not spring rolls. Great Wor Wonton Soup.*only take out right now
SCRUMPTIOUS! I love Chinese food and this one takes the Fortune Cookie!(Cake) :DThe customer service is beautiful as I learned how to count to 3 in Mandarin from the kind lady who took my order.Definitely going back. :d
Love this place. Very friendly owners and good food. I just wish they would be able to open for regular dining inside.
Very good Chinese food. Double Happiness had a good amount of shrimp and scallops. Friendly service.

First time here but Joanne made me feel just at home. It’s a multi generation family owned restaurant, so you know what you’re getting is quality. The food is delicious and authentic, and I needed something quick which they accommodated. I think I’m going to be here a lot :)
As a diagnosed celiac, I can tell you it is rare to find gluten free Chinese food let alone amazing Chinese food. The menu doesn’t list what is gluten free, but when I spoke with the woman taking the order she said “what do you want and we can see if we can do it gluten free” I came because I had read reviews on their gluten free options, so I asked what was popular among the gluten free crowd. I ordered the orange chicken and it was doing a happy dance in my mouth. Somehow they made it seem like crunchy batter even though it was only corn starch. It was delicious. This will be a must stop for me anytime I’m in the San Diego area. Note, just take out right now but so worth it- eat in your car!
