I called to make reservations for 16 people for my graduation dinner. This location is not as busy as the Anaheim location. It is very clean, the staff is friendly and the food tastes fresh. They seemed to be understaffed but we got our food in timely manner. We ended up being 20 people instead and they were accommodating. I had cake and they provided plates and utensils. We go out to San Diego a lot and I will definitely visit this location.
Good food in general, and the size surprised us to some extent. We recommend the sesame bread with green onion (芝麻煎饼加葱) and the 锅塌豆腐. However one of the waiters is not very helpful.
A very nice Chinese restaurant. The food was halal. Their portions were quite big. As family we ordered a few dishes and couldn't finish them all. The restaurant had a lot of lots to park outside and many tables to dine in inside. Menu prices on the Google map and now are different . They updated their prices to approximately 17-18$ price range which are shown as 13-14 on the Google maps visuals.
Pleasant surprise! I found this location when my son moved to San Diego. I have been to every location of this family’s restaurants and I appreciate the consistency and quality of the food and the service. I’m a big fan of the Kung pow chicken, they have a thick brown sauce instead of the watery one you get in most places!
The three meat fried rice had a bunch of flavors,is my new dish.also Ordered the fried duck and it was tender but ,but the best thing is the sauce that came with it..I would dip that in shrimp, fried or peeled !!wish they would put more than One sauce..oh add chopsticks and Soy sauce to order, that’s bad Leaving that out
We normally love this place but tonight I am beyond frustrated. We had it delivered through grub hub and when the order was delivered there was an item missing. I called the restaurant and she told me that the chef confirmed that he had put it in there. I responded with the fact that I did not receive the item and she continued to say that it was. I asked if she was calling me a liar and she said yes. I don’t appreciate being called a liar and paying for something that I didn’t get. We will find another place to order from.
Born and raised in China. Was very excited to found this Restaurant cos they have my favor dish "lamb soup". But it turns out a total disaster after we tried it out today, it's not only bad, it's the worst lamb soup i have ever tried. We didn't drink it at all, really waste of money, but it smells disgusting and tastes disgusting.
The food at this restaurant is not good and the quality is definitely lacking compared to the other locations across Southern California. The food is very greasy and is covered in oil and honestly you feel quite awful after eating it. The staff are not welcoming by any means and are quite cold and are borderline rude. When I went there was no soap in the men's restroom and I asked multiple staff if they could bring more soap so I could wash my hands before I eat food however they literally all ignored me and I was unable to wash my hands before eating. The prices are quite high for what they offer and I will definitely not ever come back to this location.
UpdateNo rice but the food was great with generous portions.15.00 a dish and you need to request and pay extra for rice? Chinese food needs rice in most cases. At least mention that the dishes that normally come with rice, magically don't come with rice so I can pay the extra when I am picking up.
The food is very good, I enjoyed the orange beef quite a bit. It is halal, so no pork. The price is a little expensive, but the quality is good.
