Amazing and inventive menu that was absolutely delicious! The rooftop setting is beautiful with views of downtown San Diego gas lamp district. Excellent service. I highly recommend it for a special occasion or date night. My favorites were the Mystery Box of chefâs choice sushi preparations and the Antimiso Chilean Sea Bass. Would love to go again soon!
Outstanding menu, great outdoor atmosphere!
Had the best experience here at Lumi for our anniversary dinner. Food by a Michelin star chef did not disappoint, it was unique, SO flavorful, beautiful and all came out so fast. Our server Tim was fantastic at giving us recommendations from drinks, to apps, to our main. Nate was an awesome host, he made sure we had everything we needed and was great conversation. 10/10 food, experience, and service.

Lumi was better than expected. Host/hostess were so sweet. We sat right away. Has a clubby vibe! But, we dined during sunset and the music was still low - we could easily chat across the table. Food and service did not fall short. Tim was an awesome waiter and generously spent time giving recommendations/making us feel comfortable. Best service Iâve received at a restaurant in a long time. The fish was FRESH and the flavors were incredible. I would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a fun evening with kind attentive staff and delicious sushi.
From the time that I was greeted by the host until I sat at the sushi bar and was greeted by the sushi chef, everything was going great. Bradley made good recommendations on food. They were excellent. The service was on point, and the quality of the food is exceptional. The standout of my dining experience was the manager. Nate. Having been in the restaurant business for years, I am well aware of what goes on behind the scenes in a restaurant to make it seem seem less. Nate made it a point to touch virtually all of the tables including mine, and was very conversational and very eloquent about the menu options, the restaurant itself, and even the company at large. He enhanced our dining experience much more than it would have been had we just been eating on our own. I can honestly say that because of our server Bradley, and even more importantly, Nate, this is a restaurant I am going to recommend often, and return to often myself!

this was the cutest rooftop restaurant/bar I have been to! The sushi pizza is to DIE for but nothing that we ordered disappointed. This is a new must go to when visiting San Diego. Every staff member we encountered was a delight and so friendly as well.
Beautiful atmosphere. The views are nice and the service was the best thing about the place. My partner and I sat at the bar and we had an incredible experience chatting with the bartenders and staff!
