Detoured off the beach during our walk for about 5 minutes and came across this gem.Great ambiance, hot coffee, wonderful food, and friendly staff. Ordered two coffees, a ham and cheese croissant, and a slice of Quiche Lorraine. The Quiche Lorraine was a standout food item for us. I recommend getting a slice when you visit. Smooth, silky texture with a wonderful mix of flavors on the palate.

The Living Room Café is pretty awesome. The staff is very warm and welcoming and you really feel like you are at home when you are there. The Living Room has a great variety of sandwiches, soup, salad’s, sweets, coffee, tea and drinks (like wine and a pretty full bar). They literally have a little bit or everything and something for everyone. Again, great location in La Jolla where you can grab a bite to eat and a coffee and walk around the beach or local shops. There is also plenty of seating indoors and outside so you can just sit and relax. We got an Americano and a glass of Malbec and grabbed a seat inside. It is very homey, the Living Room is filled with plenty of comfy chairs and lots of tables and there is a great view of the ocean from the inside. It was a beautiful day yesterday and even sitting inside we had a great view and it was cool. We got the feel of being outside but was nice because we weren’t out in the bright sun. The Americano was good, I got a large one and it was reasonably priced. My husband enjoyed his Malbec as well. It was just nice to sit and unwind after a long week. The Living Room is reasonably priced and seems to be pretty popular (was very busy yesterday afternoon). I can see why it is so popular too, the staff is awesome.

This place should be so much better! The location with the view is amazing. Great place to study and you'll see plenty doing just that. But if you're not a local, service is hit or miss. Prices are too high and food quality is pretty ordinary. Not terrible, but there are plenty of better cafes nearby.

A perfect little spot in La Jolla to sit on the patio with pups and enjoy people watching. Tuna melt was divine! The ladies that work there were super sweet and accommodating, would visit again!

Nice cafe to have coffee with family and friend. I had house coffee and ruben sandwich, all were good. The crew are nice.

It's pretty expensive. $30+ for a hookah. $7-$10 for a beer. Great location. View of the ocean. Right on Prospect St. The bakery has a good selection of items. Service is okay. I'd come back if someone invited me here, otherwise it's a little too expensive for my taste.

The girl working the counter yesterday was the sweetest! She was so helpful, kind to my daughter, and picker her out the best macaroons. The girl who made my iced coffee was also very sweet and the coffee was awesome! Pic of my very happy girl enjoying her macaroon.

I stopped in one morning and had Quiche Lorraine and enjoyed it. The coffee is very good also. Fun, funky dining room too.

Chill hangout that’s open late and has a huge coffee drink menu, as well as wine and beer menus and a large pastry/dessert selection if you need a good snack. They also have a large hookah lounge and little cigar shop upstairs, and the staff was wonderful. Came here with some friends one night, grabbed some wine and coffee drinks downstairs, and then came upstairs to enjoy some hookah and more drinks.Definitely recommend!

The staff are friendly, engaging and sincerely interested in making sure each experience is outstanding
