Fantastic food! One of the best Thai food places I’ve tried in San Diego County. Whether eating there or picking up to go. Friendly people working there as well! The green curry is one of my favorite things on the menu.

I give it 4-star just because I have a special feeling of Thai food and Thai people. Look at the picture, will you buy such a small box with so many broken noodles for $16.16? I did. That night, Lara was tirelessly preparing her final the next day and even didn't have time to go out for a dinner. We had some leftovers from the lunch but not enough, I decided to buy some takeaway and googled this Thai restaurant. It's only 0.4 mile away, I walked there after ordering through the phone. The restaurant is in the middle of a bunch of car dealers, with a bright yellow lightbox outside labeled the logo. The restaurant looks ethnic, authentic, and decent. It has a big sculpture of two Thai welcoming at the gate, has four wooden buddha's hands on the wall, a wooden time of wheel on another wall, and a wooden sculpture of a group of gods and goddesses on the other wall. The entire dining room looks very Thai and fashion style.I got my food and walked back, besides the lunchbox, it's only one pair of chopsticks in the bag. Even no tissues at all.I ordered the Pad Kee Mao, which was a stir-fried flat rice noodle dish. I have to say the taste was good, but not surprisingly good. It's too spicy as a 5/10 spicy level. The portion was too small, and too many broken noodles. The squid was too soft without texture. The renovation for the dining room is worth 5-star and the food can only get 3.

Amazing Food!!Highly Recommended!!Salmon With Mango Sauce YUM!!

I love this place. Get the golden triangles appetizer. I’ve never gotten anything I didn’t like but I did see my dining companion not like the over cooked calamari they got. The sauces are

Good Lord this was the best Thai food I ever had. Came to San Diego for vacation from Long Beach & needed my fix. Been to over 15 different Thai spots in L.B, Riverside, Rancho Cuc, Ontario, Moreno Valley, Vegas, Cerritos, WestMinster and this was by far the best.

While in SD for a few days my daughter wanted to eat at a Thai restaurant and so I looked for a nearby restaurant with good reviews. This was just a couple miles from our rental in Mission Beach. This place is a gem! I found out that, I need to order things on the low side of spicy, but they were kind to remake my dish of Duck Thai Basil. The Duck fried rice was the best I've ever had. My husband had Pork eggplant dish. We all shared the tempura. Everything was delicious, but I will dream about that fried rice. 5 ?.

New to the area and decided to give this place a try because I was craving pad Thai. I got mine with chicken and no tofu(not a fan of tofu) at a spice level of 8. I usually go pretty spicy because I like it and most places I’ve tried never give me that. Welp, I got my spice just as I wanted. A little spicy for my 19 month old but next time I’ll back off so she can enjoy it too. It was SO good. I also got spring rolls and the cheese wonton-both a hit with the toddler. Everything was great and all the employees were very nice. I’m glad this place is so close to my house. I ordered takeout but it’s very cute inside and plan to take my husband at some point.

No Amex. Visa and Mastercard only.

I am always on the hunt for the best tom ka gai, and this place is a serious contender. The flavor was super good, but what set it apart was the chicken. Moist, tender, flavorful, and well proportioned. Glad I stumbled across Lanna Thai!
