I come here on occasion for my lunch break and I always get the pineapple chicken. Typically about half the mass of the chicken is all fat and gristle that I pick off and throw in the trash...but not today! Whoever was working in the kitchen preparing the meat on tuesday 6/28 around 2pm—keep doing what you're doing! Every piece of meat was delicious!
I was told my order will be ready in 15 minutes. Came back to pick up my food. The worker was looking for my order and told me to give him a minute. Waited to be help but the guy didn’t give me an update after 5 minutes of waiting. Saw the guy but didn’t acknowledge us knowing that we’re still waiting for our food. My husband had to go up to the guy and asked once again for our order. Found out that they accidentally gave my food to another customer. WTH?! How can they “accidentally” give someone order to another person? We wasted total of 30 minutes of our time. Instead of giving any business we asked for a refund. Worst customer service.
Very under-par food, service - definitely not a place to dine in, food was meh and it pales in comparison to other options around.
Been eating at this L&L since 2005. Always hits the spot. Chicken Katsu plate regular size is enough for lunch and sometimes dinner lol. Good portions and the food is hot and fresh.
Great place. Friendly staff and the food is always delicious and well prepared. Unfortunately the disconnect between ordering on the app and picking up at the location us wide. Otherwise I'd give a better rating.
Ordered through DoorDash and it was one of the worst food I ever tried.I ordered chicken katsu because what can go wrong, but I was mistaken! It had no flavor at all not even salt, the chicken was over-fried that it was like eating a plastic.Never again!

One of my favorites of the last 5 years that I have been traveling.It definitely has pros and cons:Cons: the bbq ribs are a bit chewy and the restaurant is not next to my house.Pros:Best chickenBest porkThe combo platter is my favorite.
I literally eat at all L n L locations in San Diego County this is the worst now as of of November they started weighing the food and serve you half a plate only lower your prices if your going to start giving less you guys are worse than Panda now this is a joke or raise your prices but at least fill up the plate
Second time and not good experience. 1st time I order by phone and they didn't even take the order plus they didn't give me what i order and the cashier not nice at all. And makes me wait 45 min. I order today and chicken is burn out and dry. I guess is my last time in this location. I love the Sweetwater location Though
