Ordered cappuccino ($4.6). It was perfectly creamy and coffee had the right kick and blend of notes with the right balance (earthy, chocolaty, and nutty).Location is prime, right in downtown.Staff was nice and ambience was cool.Ps, please get heavy cream!
Went here a couple times while visiting San Diego just for the coffee. I had a cappuccino which was very good. Was a little on the expensive side I felt for what I got. Not much seating inside. There were a couple seats outside I believe. Every time I went there I had to wait a while for my drink. Felt that they worked very slow. Even when there wasn’t a line I still was waiting a while. Do not suggest going here for coffee if you’re in a hurry.
Ordered a hot latte to-go and it was delicious :) Quick, friendly service - and they even put a cute leave design in the froth despite me taking it to-go (most shops don't take the time to do this when you order to-go from my experiences lol). I'll be going back tomorrow!
Ultimate cafe and the best customer service you can get in SD!
Friendly, small husband/wife Cafe. All coffees are good. Especially lattes. Staff extremely friendly. Call you by first name.
I come to this place often for my coffee and and food. The staff and the owners are so nice. They always remember people's names, what they normally order and care about how your day is going. Best Cafe around. Food and coffee are amazing.
Very efficient and nice. Cold brew just want to my liking
Wish there was one near my work. The kuma bowl was great and healthy… not sure how they cooked the chicken that way but it was very flavorful and healthy. Ambiance, coffee, and banana bread were also great
Cute coffee shop and the pastries and coffee were delicious. Pictured is a latte and a cinnamon apple muffin.
This breakfast/coffee spot was a few blocks away from our hotel. My sister and I stopped in on a Friday morning at around 8:30 ish before the rest of our group was up because we were in need of some coffee.I ordered the cold brew, and it did not disappoint. For food, we got the Croissant Sandwich (ham, egg, provolone, avocado on fresh-baked butter croissant) - this was amazing. It might have been the best croissant breakfast sandwich I've ever had because it came with some type of garlic aioli inside, which really made the sandwich. It will set you back about $10 though, so it is pretty pricey for a breakfast sandwich. But, it's a good size and you can definitely share amongst two people and be satisfied (we split amongst three just to try it, and we also weren't that hungry). It does take a bit for the food to come out, so just be mindful of that. Might not be the best place if you are in a hurry or are looking to grab a quick bite.We stopped by a second time on the same morning with the rest of the group. I needed another coffee so this time, I got Lavender Vanilla Latte, which they were able to make iced. I liked it at first but the more I drank it, the thicker it tasted and I had just gotten it with skim milk. I would just stick to regular cold brew next time.My sisters actually tried to come a third time on Saturday morning to try and get the croissant sandwich again. Google said they were open, but they are actually closed on the weekends! So no croissant and no coffee :( But I'm glad we got to check this place out.
