A very cozy restaurant and serves halal food. We liked the nice vibes and the decoration of the uyghur culture. We loved almost all the dishes we tried. They came quickly and hot, they were rich in flavors! Prices are moderate. They have a section for desserts. The staff are very friendly.

Kroran is the only Uyghur restaurant in San Diego, and the cuisine is similar to other Turkic or Central Asian cuisine from Uzbekistan or Kazakhstan.Since it had been awhile, we went all out. We got the spicy noodles with beef, which are hand-pulled for a wonderful chewy texture. We couldn't pass up the plov (aka pilaf, polo, pulao) with lamb, which is rice cooked in spices and meat juices and just packed with flavor. We also tried the cold bean curd, which is actually mung bean jelly with a firm texture mixed with chilies in a vinegar sauce, pretty refreshing. And last we got the manta, which are beef dumplings flavored with lots of black pepper and served with chili oil. I took some of the leftover yogurt that had been served with the plov and added it to the manta with chili oil and it was ?Kroran is considering opening for lunch again soon, so I hope we'll be able to visit more often. They are an awesome spot for a nice dinner though, especially if you like lamb or eat halal ❤

Super friendly people. Top notch delicious food.Totally recommend!Best beef noodle soup i tried in my life. My compliments to the chef!

First time trying Uyhgur cuisine and it was really delicious.Great people with amazing service. Peaceful atmosphere and food was really good tbh.

I like the food at this restaurant very much, tastes delicious, service was also great, it was a pleasant experience. Spicy fried noodle is my favorite.

The best noodles in town! If you’re Muslim and never been here, I don’t know what to say. Because I love food especially if is HALAL and fresh made when I tried I didn’t realize these guys pull noodle there (handmade), and not only noodles, they do and have a lot more dishes which I definitely can say you will not try anywhere in San Diego, don’t believe me? Come and check it out yourself!Service is different level, respectful and clean! Well, I don’t know others but I will be back for sure to try all of they’re menu!

I came here just for the spicy rice noodles (新疆炒米粉) but it was awful… super salty and couldn’t taste anything else. Really disappointed.

Amazing unique and fast Ughyur food! It was our first time visiting here from the east coast and everyone loved the food! Especially the hand pulled noodles and lamb and chicken dishes! Would highly recommend everyone to come here and try their amazingly delicious food! The staff was so kind, friendly, and helpful when ordering as well. We will definitely be coming back again!

First off - I RARELY give a one star to a restaurant. But this time I had to. The Management at this establishment is chaos. As soon as you come in, you have to scan the code on your table to make an order. No one comes to your table to discuss the items or questions you may have. After sometime more people started coming in and started getting all their entrees before ours. We saw the table next to us get the dumplings we ordered an hour ago. After waiting an hour we decided to cancel whatever items were remaining and just leave. When leaving the server was not even aware on what we ordered and what was served to us. I can understand being overwhelmed and a busy night but not even being aware of your mistake is just bad behavior and I refuse to have someone treat me this way. I felt very disrespected. The spicy noodles are aight and the lamb shank is good. I won’t be back here again and I advise them to fix this management issue they have. You simply can not treat people this way, just because.

I have visited here twice now and each time tried something new. This was my first time ever trying this cuisine and I am hooked! If you love spicy food they will accomplish that. They have non spicy as well if you're not into that. I'm definitely going to come back and try another new dish.
