This place was good but now it’s changed hands and the new owners lady she is dumb I ordered a chicken kabob with lunch special with salad and she up charge my order by sending regular chicken kabob with burnt tomatoes and up charge me by $4 bucks I didn’t think that’s very smart.don’t use this place they are not good anymore. And they up charge and want to rip their customers off.
The quality of the food was very poor. It is now under new management. I hope they can improve on the quality and bring it closer to what a real persian food is supposed to taste. The new owner was running around and taking care of everyone. For sure they need more wait staff.
Best Persian food around San Diego area. Much lore reasonably priced than Bandar.
The food is genuine. The service was very good. The lunch specials are good deals during weekdays!
The best chicken kabob I have tried so far. Very juicy and tender. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended.
We used to enjoy going there. Hossein was super nice and we enjoyed his hospitality. The new manager which he is the owner is rude and unpleasant. His attitude towards the customers is horrible. He thinks you need him and you owe him. He needs to stay in the back and stay away from customers. Maybe then he can hide his obsession with charging refill on hot tea. Please keep this guy in the kitchen before you go out of business. Some people cannot provide customer service and there is nothing wrong with that Mr. Homayoun. Just let others do their job and stop interfering with customers. Sometimes you can have the best food but the experience is more important.Thanks.
- the owner was a nice guy- nice decoration- horrible food to my surprise. We came here on Monday for my wife's birthday. All food came cold. We ordered:- chicken stew with zereshk (zereshk polo ba morgh) --> it was so bad that I almost believe the cook purposely made it such!- kabab barg (leaf kebab) --> it was actually good but came cold.- Fesenjoon (pomegranate-walnut stew with chicken) --> horrible. The chicken had all of its skin on and was saggy. It simply did not taste like fesenjoon as we know it (and we are Persian).- kabab skewer --> It was OK but cold.- very pricy.
It's a beautiful restaurant and the staff were so polite. The food was delicious and the portion sizes of my meal was more than filling. I will definitely be coming back.
My experience with this restaurant was so disappointing. I ordered Ash Reshteh. As a Persian, I was dissatisfied with Ash Resteh and I politely complained about it. The owner of the restaurant was disrespectful and had a bad attitude. I do not recommend this place.
I wish I could leave less than a one star. The worst customer service ever. You gotta wait one hour for your order and it comes incomplete. This happened to few other customers at the same time there. They need to increase their customer service and promote their management.
