Food is mediocre at best with pretentious food portions. The images shown in the image are false representations of the establishment with use of dixie cups and paper plates for dining. Along with the overpriced menu comes the repulsive container intended for collecting used skewers that has not been cleaned between customers. With the prices, one would expect a entree to be proportional to a group of four but I was sorely mistaken with the meager amount presented to my table. The restaurant had even failed to present "COOLED WATER". The water had been warm and left inside a ghastly corked container with neglectful employees in addressing misunderstandings. This restaurant had left me physically ill after dining there. I high suggest you reconsider your choice when it comes to King Bistro unless you are in search for a shoddy attempt of a restaurant. We must be better than this.
Uber eats order was cancelled after 1 hour.
I had noodle and skewers here and they taste so authentic! GREAT service too. Five star!
Delicious, that’s all I need to say. Worth the trip!
Seriously UNDERRATED spot. Open late? Check. Delicious? Check. Family run? Check. I walk in and am greeted warmly by hardworking staff who remember me! The children in the shop are respectful, and it's real to see them doing homework or playing games while their adults are making delicious food. Portion sizes are not "big" by American standard, because this is seasoned well, one doesn't eat it quickly. I can split salt and pepper wings with another girl and we're good! Order the baked garlic kebabs, the lamb, the quail, the squid, it's great variety! I'm not much of a noodle person, but a good portion of the menu is soup!
Authentic chinese food. A great place for traditional skewer and bbq types. The Chef knows what they are doing and every item I have gotten always taste good. I have been a few times and gotten items from hot pot to wings to skewers to mantis shrimp. They have a nice selection of beer if you want to go with a party and causally drink especially during happy hour. Would recommend to anyone who wants a taste of real chinese food.
First of all, terrible service, they treated their customer as who owed them money.Second, the dining area looks weird, like being abandoned.Last, which may be the most important, the meat and seafood was not fresh. So, don’t come.
First one star review.Hotpot was terrible no flavor or heat just terrible spice blend that gives no flavor. Served in a plastic pickup container. No bowl!Edamame was over salted and inedible.Tofu with preserved eggs was stomach churning. The tofu badly made and the eggs were almost dry!Service was bad too. The “appetizers” came 40 min after the food. And the waiter didn’t know what “chopsticks” meant! Had to google the image for him! The staff were unhelpful and didn’t want to give me a bowl for the soup.My first and hopefully last 1 star review in San Diego.

One of my preferred places for quality chinese food. good place to relax and unwind. nothing but great experiences here. the bill was appropriate.
