If you haven’t tried this Thai restaurant, you must! I have been here several times and I have friends who come here often. King of Thai Cuisine has so much flavor and just has a great vibe overall. On this visit I ordered the Spicy Noodle dish with chicken (spice level 8). The spice level is not as important as the flavors. The heat is not overwhelming, but it complements the ingredients. This dish is my favorite and it always satisfies. My friend ordered the red curry with shrimp. I didn’t try it, but she LOVED it. For dessert we split the coconut ice cream that is served with mini fried banana rolls. It’s the first time I have tried this dessert and it won’t be my last. The ice cream is so smooth, almost like a soft serve. Not heavy at all. The steaming hot banana roll is a great contrast with its crunchy shell. Our server was Fah, she was friendly and made our visit a great one. I’ll keep coming back. Eat up!!!

The coconut ice cream and pad see ew and crab fried rice, all AMAZING. The Thai tea was also delicious and very large.
Just down the street from my son’s new apartment we found this little gem of a restaurant during a visit with him. Though simple in looks and decor the food is anything but simple, full of flavor and spice. We both had the Tom Khar soup that we both found excellent. My son had the Fried Tofu (as he was not to hungry) and I selected the Pad Thai with shrimp. Both were well prepared. My Pad Thai had just the right amount of sauce that did not overwhelm the fresh ingredients of the dish. The ship were plump and sweet. Service was quick and friendly and the server was attentive without being overbearing. Can’t wait to visit King Of Thai on my next visit to San Diego.
This place is great! I order for pick up frequently and they always get my order correct. The quality of their dishes is top shelf. I’ve ordered many different dishes and none have ever disappointment me. My favorites are the Panang Cury, Pad Thai, and Orange chicken. Everything from the food to their To-Go packaging is 5 out of 5 stars. Hands down this place has the best Thai food I’ve tried in all of San Diego! To the owner and staff, keep up the great work and thank you for such great food and service!
Worst Pad Thai EVER! Authentic Pad Thai in Thailand is not red! Sometimes if they use a lot of Tamarind paste it can have somewhat of an orangish tinge. Many places that make Pad Thai especially in the States use Ketchup (disgusting) and that Pad Thai is red and taste nothing like authentic Pad Thai which is delicious! The curry was ok but the rice was soggy.

Food was delicious and light on my stomach which can't be said of many Thai places. Very homemade nothing extra, which sometimes takes away from food when they try hard. Service was great, friendly and food was done fast and efficiently. Definitely will come back!!
Food was AWESOME,and ready at time promised. Got it home and was still hot.SPICY, THO. Get mild unless you really enjoy spicy Thai food.
