I went to the KFC located right off the 15 fwy Scripps Poway exit. I ordered the 12 hot wings with no sauce and 2 orders of the 3 pieces of chicken strips for $10.00, and a side of large crispy fries. It came up to like $31.00. I made a special request to have it made fresh. The drive thru person was nice to make it happen, and it would only take 10 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised the food was hot and freshly made. The chicken and fries were so delicious ?. I may continue to ask for food to be cooked fresh. Everything tasted so much better. Thanks ? again KFC for doing an excellent job.
Just a heads up, biscuits are no longer free. You have to pay for them (per biscuit). And don't forget to ask for sauces and make sure they are there.
I’ve been a customer for the past 20+ years, no issues, till last week orders was missing 6pieces of chicken and no gravy . Ordered 14 pieces but got 8 pieces only. Since it was a rush hours and avoiding traffic and hungry, I never even bother to come back to the store and complain about it. But then it happened again today 2/21/22, at the counter I counted the chicken and DEJAVU! 6 pieces of chicken missing! Spoke to the manager and informed him the previous missing orders and today’s order. He corrected the orders and given me extra gravy and mashed potatoes… lesson learned: always double check your orders before leaving, it’s your hard earned money and you deserved to enjoy it! I’m very disappointed in today’s experience! We usually prefer this location as of recently because we had thought they were nicer at this location. My husband can’t even call me for a second to see what else I would like since they were once again Out! Of Pot Pies! (and I am home sick for days!) Without a rude lady yelling at him to hurry there’s a limit!?! to how long you can be in the line To order!?! What!!! There wasn’t even a line!!! No other cars behind. I hope she’s not the manager cause that’s rude and terrible service. No excuses ? (this was at 3pm pt 2/7/22)
We drove up, and waited in drive thru for at least 5 minutes. We knew they were opened because employees were inside. They did not answer drive til we started to pull away. We ordered 8 pieces tender meal ($30) and 3 extra pieces of chicken. Our tenders and chicken were ridiculously small, the fries filled the box half way. For over $40 worth of food, this highly upsets me.
Cpl years ago I used to visit here frequently with coupons** and everything was excellant...good quality food / price = high value.I visited a few nights ago and my anticipation was thwarted by the high prices. (I had no coupons.)I spent approx 40% more $ than beforebut it only bought me three little PCS of chicken and the little dab of mashed potatoes! I'm a grown man.. a meat eatin' man who can almost destroy a 10 pc sized bucket of original recipe.I had finished eating all 3 tiny pieces before I exuted the 15 at Mira Mesa! Still very hungry I hit Jack in thr Box to fill my tummy with 2Jumbo Jacks.** 8pc for $10

Some days, they are super nice and give you some extra goodies and excellent service. Other nights, like my last visit, they are not so nice and are not very happy to see you. They have never totally ruined my order but I feel like my time is coming soon. I only really get the Nashville tenders from KFC and they have always been fresh and generously sauced, so no issues there.Nashville Hot Tenders: 5/5Though my food rating is 3/5, this particular item is awesome. For the price and its unique flavor, you cannot beat it. The oil that is used, especially the seasoning that sinks to the bottom, has a very unique smoky and savory flavor. Imagine barbecue sauce without the sweetness and a bold umami flavor. The pickles that they serve with it are awesome as well and I always ask for extra. Pro tip! If you like their green beans (my secret pleasure), toss them in with the oil and you have a literal flavor bomb. Again, this KFC never gets this wrong so order it with confidence!
Worse customer ever I have an online order anf thr door was closed I tried to Knock for 15 minutes and thr worker looked at me and ignored me the drive thru was long line I will never come back ever worst service SHAME on you
