UPDATEThis last visit was way off, different cooks, management or standards, The Price have gone up as well.-----We were pleasantly surprised with our order, the portions were above average, everything we tried was really good, and prices seemed right onOur service was excellent, so overall we had a great time. The only constructive suggestions would be to spurs up the place or provide easy refills.
I've been a long time customer of Kabob House and while pricier than fast food, the food is consistently of higher quality and fresher. I personally order the combination plate with kabobs and accoutrements, or the salad/chicken combo with soup. All delicious. Highly recommend this hidden gem.
Love this place! We're just visiting San Diego, so we would normally only eat somewhere once so we can try a variety, but the food here was just too good! We ate here at least 3 times. Very tasty, great salads, tons of variety, and easy to order exactly what you want with mix and match plates.

First time to eat Kabob House food and it was delicious. Their Kaddo is super good. Definitely recommend their lamb dishes. Hassan, the restaurant owner, was super nice and very accommodating
Sooooo Goood!!! Reminds me of eating at a place overseas. Great prices and portions! Highly recommend. You will not she disappointed. I can’t wait to go back and try more!
The food here was fresh and delicious! Went for a light bite but decided to order the kabob plate. Got one chicken and one beef kabob, rice/couscous, dolmas, and tabouli. Ample portions for a decent price. Don’t be fooled by the strip mall location. Stop in for some great food!
I was recommended this place buy a friend for a catering job I needed for my daughters birthday. I have too tell you I was very impressed. We order a 3 different meats, rice, cuscus, and he included a free Greek salad and fries for the kids. We had enough food feed and army! The chicken teka and beef shawarma were delicious and stayed tender even after we ate them 2 hours later and the beef kabob is must have! They delivered the food at no charge and brought it very hot. I will always use this place for my catering.
It’s been a long time so I had good Mediterranean food the salad was fresh!!! And the beef and chicken kebab were not dry like other places. I normally don’t like to buy chicken but I am happy I did because it had a lot of flavorful spices.I always judge a restaurant by how good the rice is and they pass the test!
This is a mom and pop shop and it's so good. I cannot resist coming in when I'm in golden hill... From the lamb chunks to the beef and chicken kabobs everything is so fresh and large portions keep me fed well all day!! Thanks kabob house for the amazing food see you next week ?
