It was an awesome place until they moved us from our table to the bar because we were not consuming a bottle liquor although we did consume liquor and food that came to be over $150 dollars. So figured that out crazy people
Excellent food and drinks. Happy Hour menu has a great selection. Gator was a fabulous waiter who spoke 4 languages and had some great food recommendations. Everything on the menu was good. Outdoor seating was a plus with the great weather on San Diego. Not too cold or windy, just right.
Server never came to the table. After about 45 mins of enjoying the awesome music we called her over. No one greeted us at the door. We went and sat down. There were three people working. Only 4 tables had customers. The female server forgot flatware with our food. After we were done she asked how our food was. There is a complete lack of service here at JT. I cant recommend this place. Except for the good music .
We started with Clase Azul for me and a Don Julio Margarita for Gwen with Chips and Guacamole. Then Blackened Shrimp Tacos for Gwen and a Grilled Shrimp Burrito for me. Food was very good and AnnaLisa's service was on point
Awesome food!!! We had both sushi and homemade blue corn tortillas and both were so good! Waiter/owner was very attentive and great! I wish I lived in San Diego as I would be a regular. So good

The Mahi Mahi tacos are to die for, full of flavor, and delicious sauces. The tres leches dessert was absolutely the best one we’ve had. It comes with a unique and mouth watering homemade coconut jelly which pairs perfectly with the cake. 10/10, TRY THE TRES LECHES CAKE! You will regret it if you don’t.
Food was great. We tried sushi and tacos. Drinks and service were good. Music was overwhelmingly loud. Truly couldn't hear the person I was with; a table on one side of us moved outside; a table on the other side moved to sit together side by side instead of across from each other. Music was good. Just too loud for the dinner hour (around 7).
