We absolutely love Javier's, the food is always amazing and the service is great! It's our go-to special occasion restaurant and would absolutely recommend it to anyone!

We are here at least once a week, we Love it so much! It is always consistent and delicious!!â We only wish there was one in the village of La Jolla:))
Rushed the entire meal. The server never gave us any down time and for an upscale restaurant with a $600 bill for 4 people, it would be nice not to feel like they couldnât wait for us to leave.
Had a reservation. Checked my in at host stand which was chaotic. No one around us seemed to know what to do. Hosts seemed annoyed and unfriendly to everyone. Felt rushed from the moment we were seated. Server kept coming over every couple of minutes to try and take our order. Didnât really allow us time to settle in. Ordered drinks. Had a few minutes to enjoy and kept coming back to get our order. Finally ordered. Food arrived 7-10 minutes later. No joke! Literally takes longer to get my food at Taco Bell. Definitely took away the feeling that the entree was made for me. Very pricey fast food!! Just go to RedOâs across the street for a better experience. Less hectic vibe, food and prices comparable but never felt rushed there.. And feels a little less like eating in a cave.

Javier's is a great go-to spot for lunch and dinner regardless of occasion and group size. There is a great variety on the menu to choose from and you won't be disappointed. I ordered the tasty chopped salad with shrimp and it was the perfect amount of shrimp proportionate to the salad.
Wonderful customer service
It is a nice place. Great menu. Our server Juan was excellent. A bit pricey for some items, but what isnât expensive nowadays. One minor observation; seating is cramped (tables way too close to each other, needed to squeeze in So as not to inconvenience the other people adjacent to us) resulting in servers occasionally bumping into seated guests.
